When you scratch your body does it leave red marks? If it does that means you have excema and it's not rare. I have it but it's subsiding now...basically it looks like a rash...but it's not serious. First off you have to wash your body really well. Never wear anything besides cotton. And put on Eucerin in the morning and at night. If it continues...go to a dermatologist.

I know how you feel. I began cutting last year and it was kind of a ritual for me. I would come home every day and add 3 or 4 lines to my already sliced arms. The thing about it is...we cut ourselves because we have no where else to turn. It's one of those things where you have to find the strength in yourself to stop and accept imperfections... accept life for what it is. But I know how hard it can be. I stopped for a couple of months and I sliced my upper arm pretty badly yesterday. I guess I did it because I feel like I'm such a disappointment to my family, that everyone is better than me and that I have to stand alone forever. I wanted to hide my body and be part of the wall paper...but there's only so much I could do. Today however, I'm deciding to start all over again. Be a new and better person. And at the end of the day all you have is you...and when we cut ourselves all we're doing is making ourselves weak, ugly and stupid and that's not us. So if you think your fat...then start eating healthier and exercising...if you think your ugly look at yourself in a lighter and brighter way...if you have a broken heart screw that asshole. The most important person is you...so take care of yourself.
okay, so you know that thin line of hairs on your stomach? i'm a girl, btw. and so my friend was like, "just shave it, that's what i did." so i did. and now my stomachs all hairy. like you can't notice unless you look really close or like rub all on it. haha. but yea, can i do anything to get rid of it or something?
Just don't mess around with it any longer. But if you become unbearably self conscience about it, then go to the beach when it's really really hot, squeeze lemon juice all over it and tan for a couple of hours. Your 'happy trail' will lighten.
so my bra size is only a 32A and i thought that a push up bra but my mom and my friends said it doesnt do anything if you have nothing or not much to push up haha so i was wondering if this was true or if it will actually help make look bigger
Push-up bras do work wonders ;). I've also heard that eating onions will make breasts bigger.
Ok, here's the thing. At school I never be myself because honestly, I act really crazy at home and I'm afraid people are going to think I'm weird. What if they start judging me, or they don't like me? Should I just forget what they think and start being myself? And if I do, what if they start laughing at me?
I think you should be yourself. I know it would take lots of guts to endure the laughter and staring but you have to deal with it. If you don't act yourself, people will judge you differently and expect something else from you. So be who you are and if you don't like the way you are make a few small tweaks. But if you love the way you are and people don't like you, it's their loss.

Yes and no. I think the real question is...do you care about the friendship? If you do then you should have been more open to what you were and weren't comfortable with. People never know what's in your head so you need to tell them if something is bothering you. Also, you should always be patient with this kind of issue. If you don't care about the friendship, then well done.

It doesn't matter. If you like the music, listen to it. Don't base your likes and dislikes on cliques or wherever.
At my school everyone is very big on cliques. Theres the Girly Girls, Emos, Goths, and Spunkys. I am not in a clique, I'm a Tomboy and the boys dont have cliques so I hang with them. There will always be cliques like there will always be racism and discrimination. The most you can do is set yourself apart and be friends with all kinds of people.
okay so im pretty smart i got A's and B's on my report card but im in normal classes, no AP classes and i dont play any sports. so what are the chances of me getting a scholarship. what do scholarships look for, like what qualifies?
To qualify for a scholarship you need at least a 3.5 GPA; however, this can also depend on the kind of scholarship. Scholarships look for people who set themselves apart from others, leadership, team work, good grades and a lot of community service hours.
so, this is kinda a stupid question, but what would happen if you drank an entire bottle of niquil?
Drinking a whole bottle of Nyquil will cause your liver to decompose. In other words, you'll have to get some type of surgery if you drink pain medication a couple of times. Nyquil will also cause symptoms such as diarrhea and other agitating results including brain disfuntion.

Okay, my room was just painted this summer a nice sky blue.. it's really bight and I like it. But I want something to take the blue back a couple notches because right when you walk in it's like "wow.. it's blue." My birthday's coming up Febuary and i'll probably be getting like 70 dollars by the family. I don't wanna repaint.
I hear that there's this magnetic paint and that sounds soo cool. And I want to make a murale on my biggest wall. I saw it on this movie and this kids whole wall was covered in posters and just random stuff and it looked awesome. My parents will let me paint as long as it's suddle. I have extra yellow pant from my living room and I could like get stamps or whatever of stars and make a banner around the top ofmy wall or something. My theme is Blue.. Carebears and Tinkerbell. I love them all lol. I don't have a lot of money but I want someting diffrent.

In my experience of designing I think it's all about curtains. The mood of your bedroom always depends on the kind of curtains you have. As for the mural it sounds like a really good idea. The stencils however sound kind of outdated and a bit too much. I think you should leave your blue walls plain. My brother has sky blue walls too and it's not bad at all. I love his room because he has all kinds of science and astronomy posters around his room.

I heard that that happens to people because they have nightmares or their dreams are odd. But if you ask me I think its because you leave your mouth open when you're sleeping.
I'm 15 years old in 9th grade. Last semister my grades were horrible and they don't show signs of improving this semister. I'm not a dumb kid.. I just don't do the work. I want to get into school and do good but i can't. I want to do my homework every night but I always end up procrastinating (don't know how to spell it), and it never ends up getting done. Any tips? Because at this rate i'm going to drop out and I really don't want that to happen.

I'm with you there. I hate school, it's completely pointless and stupid. I'm not doing so great either but next semester I'm planning to go all out. What I'm going to do is go to the bookstore and get books on becoming hardworking and controlling my mind so I can focus. Stuff like those are real pick me ups. Psychology books really help even though a lot of people think its for crazy people. It's not. It helps a lot in my opinion.
Riiight. This story has a lot to it. Bear with me if you can be bothered :)
So, this girl Julia was going out with a guy called Damien. Julia was cheating on him with his BROTHER for about 8 months.
Recently she found out that she was pregnant, BUT she doesn't know who's the baby is yet (she was having sex with both of them)
Now she's bout 2/4 months pregnant, she's gonna keep it. Her parents kicked her out of the house.
And this is where I come in.
She came to my door at about one AM. with her bag and said that she'd been kicked out.
She doesn't know how she's gonna manage from now- too late to get an abortion. She is considering giving the baby away- to be adopted..but I'm getting more and more involved. I had to explain to Damien that Julia had been cheating on him, with his brother. His brother knew that Julia was with Damien, but he didn't really care. Now Damien and me are getting close after spending so much time together discussing things, sorting them out.
Julia is very, very, VERY pissed off at me for talking to Damien a lot. But she said that she's worried if it's Damien's kid, he'll have to find out and he will hate that.
His brother, Tom wants to be the dad of the baby, BUT he doesn't know that Julia was sleeping with Damien. SO if it turns out to be Damien's, Tom will leave Julia.
Also, My parents hate the fact that Julia is living with us, and we have to f*cking support her financially...Well we don't but my parents are, and Julia doesn't even say a word of thanks, she just bloody complains how her room is too small, and she doesn't have enough money to buy the things she wants and so on.
Please tell me what to do, I've started to dislike Julia, I agree with my parents 100% and me and Damien kissed yesterday for the first time. I am falling for him and seriously, he's not a bad guy at all. He's very sweet but Julia didn't appreciate him enough.

Sorry, but why do you have to go through this torture? If Julia is your bestest friend ever than sure, but she needs and attitude check. If not, then why are you doing this to her. PS. that's really disgusting how she had sex with a 15 year old. If Tom's the dad, that definetly good news for Julia and for you because you get Damien. But if Damien's the dad...how is he going to support her and the baby?

My friend whom I care about alot has been heading down the wrong path for quite some time. I was best friends with him last year, then we just stopped talking because of what he started doing. We are still friends though, we just havent talked alot [make sense?] he just recently moved out of his house into an appartment, and dropped out of school. He is now into hard drugs and alcohal. How can i help him straighten up? he has already gone to rehab, which obviously didnt help too much. But i really want to get him out of drugs and into JESUS! haha.
How can i tell him i care for him, and i dont want to watch him kill himself any more?

The sad part is, you can't do anything about it. People who are addicted to drugs and alcohol have to make their own choices. When you make a choice for them, they feel controlled and would drink and smoke even more. The best thing you can do is make him go to rehab again until he's sober. Rehab was made to work, if it's not working for him then he just wasn't there long enough. I hope everything goes well with your friend because my friend was in a similar situation. Now she's going out with this 22 year old and she's 15 and I believe she's also dropped out of high school.

Yah, I know how addiction goes. If you don't want to be doing it, then you have to stop by getting over the urges you have to look at it. I can tell you that a lot of teenagers do look up porn and sexual intercourse on the internet and do sexually pleasure themselves, but in my opinion its not worth the time. It's just hormones flaring up and you can control them. Just stop doing it even if you really want to, dont!
i'm 16/f. my passion is gymnastics..the thing is i've never really done well in it. i love watching it and learning more about it. i did it for a year in 8th grade but then when high school started i was preoccupied. now i'm in 11th grade and i feel that i need to fulfill my dream before it's too late. but i also feel that i'm too old to be able to accomplish very much, and that it would be embarassing being with such young kids. i was also thinking about maybe doing private lessons. if anyone would have any insight or advice it would really be appreciated! thanks!
The most important thing I've learned in life is that it's never too late to accomplish anything. Look at Michelle Trachtenberg in Ice Princess. I mean, I know it's just a movie, but movies are created to send messages to the viewers. Your not too old at all to fulfill your dream. I'm 15 almost 16 and I want to learn how to play the violin. So I decided I'm going to take classes at school in the summer. And mind you, it does bother me that everyone around me has been playing some instrument for a long time but whatever, because I'm finally getting a shot and it doesn't matter if it's a second or third shot. As long as your cabable of getting another chance. Just be the best you can be.

Definetly talk to your friend about it. If she's flirting with a guy that you like and she knows about it, then that's not being a good friend.
Plus, even though she is gorgeous, maybe she's jealous of something you have that she doens't and flirting with guys is a way of making herself the center of attention.
