hey. 14/f. well, my 8th grade promotion is coming up in about a month. well, i had this one dress that was cream color and had some gold sequince on it. i decided that i wanted something diffrent. so we took it back, and i had been thinking the dresses with a solid color, then a lace overlay were really pretty. so today i went to the mall to look. i found one, that i like. it was cream colored, with a black lace overlay. so i bought it. then i got a really pretty perl (fake, lol) necklace and some cute black shoes. well, i get home and try it on again. now i kinda think i look like an old lady. :( i really want to look cute, but i think people will make fun of me. i got online and looked for one, but i just can't find one that really POPS out at me. its making me mad and sad. i know i still have like a month or whatever, but soon, prom dresses will be gone, and that usually means other cute dresses will be gone. i got online and looked, but couldn't find one. i looked at dillards, jcpenny, sears, nordstrom, urban outfitters, charlotte russe, and wet seal. but i can't seem to find one. so if anyone knows where i can get a cute fun lace overlay dress, then that would be AWESOME!!!i wear a size L or XL in dress. thanks so much! i need help! i don't know if im wrong ...ok so i have a boyfrien , and he's nice and everything , but today we went on an argument about him not oppening the car door for me ...am i wrong for wanting him to do it?? even though he's nice and open places doors for me etc??..i told him i'd like that ..and he said :S its not like im going to be your slave or anything! can't you open it yourself??? ...and i was like ..i can obviously , but i would appreciate if you'll do it ....he sad your spoiled! its like i have feelings too! and im a person too why do i have to be all day after you doing evrything for you opening doors for you and for me who will do it? nobody does it for me , why do you have to be better than me ? we are both equal! ... then it turn into a big fight but am i wrong :S?????? i think you both have a point. maybe he is feeling a little like you dont care about his well being, that your just using him. Make sure he knows that hes special to you, you could surprise him with something of his favorite. You could open your own door occasionally, dont force him to do anything. you still have the right to want to have him open it. Hope i helped

ok so, next saturday is my sister's wedding. it is going to be in the backyard of my house [huge] which is a couple of acres. so on all the invatations, they specifically put NO CHiLDREN PLEASE. however, since i`m her sister [i`m 13] i can obviously go. now, i`m thinking it may be a bit boring, so i want to bring my friend gabie. she`s my age. however, her parents can`t come bcuz they have nothing to do with my family & my parents just want close friends and relatives. they are allowing me to have gabie since i might get bored or something' WHAT SHOULD i DO?????

~Okay so well then if shes okay with it then i say its alright, but just dont be obnoxious, remember its her day, not yours. Make sure that you and your friend are very poilte to the bride and the groom. If you and your friend act respectivly, then im sure it will be okay and try to stay out of your sisters way, dont be all up in her face too much.

if you no longer like him, then you cant lead him on anymore. i had the same problem. But dont do it right away, you have to give him hints like less to an answer and become more busy with friends. and after you break it off, give it some time before you go out with the new guy or the other one wil think that you broke up with him just for this guy. hope i helped.

i think you might have infected sweat glands. or it could be irritation from shaving, try getting a hypoallergenic scent free shaving jel nd dont shave with out shaving cream/jel. hope i helped.

Okay, me and my boyfriend have been going out for 3 weeks now. We both like each other alotalotalot.
We've hung out with each other every weekend. He met my mom & dad, i met his mom, and our moms met each other.
The previous times that he has hung out at my house, we've just cuddled on the couch watching a movie. We've never made out (once i tried to..), just regular kissed. We both want to makeout with each other, and we've talked about it. Except everytime we plan to, my mom is at the top of the stairs, or we're supervised SOMEHOW. When we try to go outside, my mom is always like "NO KISSING" and she watches us.
I've made out with my last boyfriend several times, without my mom getting involed. I don't know if it's possible for my to go over my boyfriends house, because i know my mom would be suspicious and know what we want to do. (link)

each year for easter my family gets together and has an egg drop contest. for those who don't know what an egg drop contest is, it's where you make kindof an apparatus for a raw egg so that it doesn't crack when thrown off a building. in the past years i haven't been too lucky with the contest and i was wondering what may be some good suggestions for it?

well we had to do this as a project and it worked fine for us. we used a peanut butter jar with no peanut butter and then filled it with cotton to about half way and then put the egg in and then another half with cotton. and then we had a little parachutte connected with string. hope i helped.

ok. 1st of all i hardly never burn in the sun i just tan. and if i do get burned some its gone the next morning. ok, yesterday i was outside most all day and got burned..alot. and i noticed some kind or rash or something on my ars yesterday. then this morning it was gone and i went outside in the sun for something like 30-40 minutes. I noticed my arms looked like the pic up there. Its mostly smooth and looks like that but in some spots there are bumps, not large ones but just the size of a pimple but for the most part its just flat. its all over my arms and some on the top part of my leg. ive not been in the sun anymore today and its been like 4 hours since ive been in the sun and all of that rash or whatever it is is still there. 1st off, my dad has lupus. does this look like lupus to you and is lupus heridatary and could i have it? 2nd, what else could it be? could it be sun poisioning? if so what caused it and when will it go away? what else could it be and what would have caused it? i get this too. my mom is a nurse and she says its either a reaction to the grass that the sun in the summer produces or an allergy to the sun. i went to thw doctor and she perscribed me a lotion that calmed it and made it less noticble to the point where it went away. hope i helped

ok so heres the deal. at 8 pm, i take a shower and let it air dry. at 10, i straighten it and it takes about 15-20 minutes because i have a really good straightener even though i have the tightest curls ever. i straighten my hair at night because in the mornings (before school) i dont have enough time to straighten my hair. i go to sleep with my bangs clipped back and i dont ponytail it because i get this crease in the mornings. when i wake up, its like half wavy but i dont mind because it only takes 5 minutes to fix that. the problem is, my hair ends up smelling funny (like i didnt wash it or something) and its kinda greasy. its probably from when i sweat while i sleep--my question is--what can i do to eliminate this odor, i take showers daily and i am a very clean person but i hate this smell in the mornings after i straighten my hair!

You can try a good smelling spray. most likely its just cause when theres oil in your hair from sleeping and you straighten it and it seals it in and burns it a litlle. hope i helped

For who ever this is, although i may have an idea, i can help you here. I personally have not kissed a boy on the lips but all of my friends come to me for help in this area so please dont think of this as any different.
~one: dont wear anything really slutty. pair a tank with jeans or a t-shirt with a skirt. Also bring a sweatshirt so if you get cold you dont have to be freezing durring the kiss. A chapstick or lipgloss that tastes good is also highly recommended.
~Two: Make sure he knows that your ready. I know your heart will be freaking out and you will probably have clammy hands. but durring the movie you can put your head on his shoulder.
~Three: he will probably kiss you after the movie before he leaves, that way it isn't awkward durring the whole time. Since this is your first kiss i suggest you dont make it a make out session. its just a kiss.
~Four: so he goes in for it. You dont have to do too much considering that he is the one kissing you. He will move his head first go the opposite direction that he does with your head(tilt) Then You just press your lips against his. you can linger for a second or so but you dont want to make it too long or he may think your a freak. ~Make sure that your breath doesnt reek so avoid smelly foods for the day and make sure your face is very clean because chances are that he will put his hand on your face.

Im literally crying right now...I feel that my family doesnt love me anymore. My parents are very demanding they dont even seem to care about my life anymore. i have 3 younger sisters, which makes me the oldest. The second youngest sister i have gets all the attention, they look up to her, they treat her with respect. shes like the boss of the other 2 younger siblings. and they are supposed to look up to me. but alls they do is just be mean to me ignore me and dont even talk to me. so i feel left out of the family, out of place. i feel sad right now. i feel like im the only child. i just noticed this as i was watching myself today. my second youngest sister in line used to be my best friend. but not anymore. im not jealous, but im unhappy with my family life. i would like to feel equal. but i dont and i cant stop crying about it. someone please help me, i will defintely give you a rating of 5 if you give me somewhat good advice. I know your pain
except im a youngest. my parents are so hard on me and my brothers both treat me like crap. it can be hard. What i do is When i start feeling sad i put on a song that really pumps me up. or one time i got an email and it said. you are an amazing person, no person can tell you whats wrong with you and sometimes people can be harsh but every little thing you do for the world will end up in effecting the world in a better way. You may not think that they look up to you but they do. They really do. Sometimes people dont understand what they ae saying or doing. All you have to do is take a deep breath. also you can tell some of your friends that you feel kind of neglected and you can be sure that they will try to cheer you up. Your family will love you no matter what, sometimes they are pre occupied and dont realize that they are doing these things. And if that didnt help, everynight someone thinks about you. its clinicaly proven that they think about you because they are in love. trust me your family doesnt hate you. if you need any help or anything dont feel afraid to ask.

There's like dots but their not like pimples that are all soft and oily, their... hard and scabby and their not oily or itchy. I have heaps on my right shoulder, some on my left and a lot on the top part of my back and some on my neck. I'm not sure what they are they are like pimples but their like not... oily. Please tell me what they are!!! THANKS!!!!

This is called Keratosis Pelarisis(my moms a nurse) long story short, extremely dry skin. you can get this amazing lotion at CVS called Lac-Hydran 5. i cant be totaly sure thats what it is cause im not there and dont see it. i suggest going to a derm.
