Is a disco party a good party for a 12-year-old turning 13? My little sister is thinking of doing that for her birthday, and I was wondering what everyone thought.

That`d be so much fun! You should get some guys and make them dress up! haha do you have a disco ball? Clear your basement or living room and make a dance floor! Earth, Wind, and fire is the BEST disco band especially their song Dancin thru September so you could dance to that! I want to make my hair look sort of touseled, sexy, curly. People tell me to use gel to scrunch it but it just makes it look chunky and wet...anything else I can do to make it look dry yet touseled?

Use those REALLY big curlers or a hair curler thats specifically for big curls. Scrunching your hait probably wont work like you said because its meant to look like really SMALL curls but thars not what your looking for. You should probably try to find some products before/after curling =) ♥

Tell them your sorry but theres nothing you can do - cuz there really ISNT anything you can do. I mean, its not YOUR fault that HE asked you out! They should get that or else they are being selfish for not being happy for you! Just go out with the guy, but still explain to your friends that you need them to be on your side with a boyfriend and they will get their chance to go out with him after you break up. ♥ RaCheL

Only if you want to. I mean, Ive done that before and it everyone in school found out. If you dont want that to happen, you shouldn't tell your friends - even if they ARE trustworthy. Word gets around so fast! lol. Plus, sex is a private thing just between you & your boyfriend and he might be mad if he finds out you told people. Ask her if and why shes upset with you. There must be SOME reason why she is acting this way. Maybe it was something you did or said that she took really the wrong way or maybe shes just getting a little annoyed with you because your so close all the time and she needs some space. Try not calling her and just leaving her alone for a few days and see how she reacts. :) ♥ RaCheL

I'm a really good singer. All of my friends have said so, and are threatening to take me too American Idol when I'm 16. And I love to sing. But when I go to do it in front of some people I get really nervous and choke up. Any suggestions on how to get rid of my nervous-ness??

Just practice singing in front of people alot - if your school has a talent show or something, do that! American Idol is huge and you want to be sure you can confidently sing in front of judges plus millions of people. Think about the consequence of breaking out of your shell ! People will see what a good voice you have so go for it and sing! In front of your friends, family, whoever will listen! :) ♥ rachel
