Q: im tryin to make a long story short it mite be hard to make out, and if it is, go to my column...im southern_chickety, and ask me!!

i've wanted to be an actress for the past 2 years
i love acting, and i take theatre classes, my mom wont support me in it tho, because the said it's a hard career, and it wont be easy to find a job, and it wont be cheap, and we dont have the money to spend, i mean my parents are raising 3 kids, and they have one in college

i wanna go to acting skool and stuff, but now every1 is sayin if i go to acting skool ill just become a broadway actress, and i dont wanna do broadway, i wanna do movies

i'm really confused, should i follow my dreams,and try to be an actress or listen to the family¿¿??

I think you should follow your dream of being a movie actress, but you should also have a backup plan. You could find another interest that would be a good career if acting doesn't work out.

Q: Today my imaginary friend ran away. I've been crying ever since. Sometimes I lick my friend's house to cheer me up. IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET MY IMAGINARY FRIEND BACK??!?!!

Hey! Hmm, Go lick his house to cheer up. Then go outside and find your poor neglected imaginary friend. Imaginary friends run away if you dont pay enough attention to them. ;)

Q: My son is in 4th grade and was just suspended for being reported for what he said to a girl but denied it and he keep saying he didn't say to 4 teachers & then told me a story that I really thought was the truth because My son would never open his mouth to say that. I was going to see why he was the only one since I felt they made it up. I was asking him all the names on the way to his school then he said not to tell on his friends made me think why not so I told him if he said anything to her at all better say it now,before I look stupid in there and then he said yes he said it I couldn't believe this was my son that the next day still have not punished him. What should I do when I'm hurt & angry I can't even look at him because I want to just get the belt out and bet his ass.(sorry)but I know I would really hurt him so I need advice on teaching what he did was wrong and help teach him how to respect adults?

Well, It sounds like he doesn't normally behave this way, soo take that into consideration when punishing him. K, I think that beating him will not solve anything. If anything, it will limit his respect towards you and in the future he will be less likely to come clean. Tell him that he needs to both write an apology and tell the girl his apology in person. I'm not a believer in the whole grounding thing because when I was grounded once, all I did was play with my dolls. I didn't seriously think about what I did wrong. Basically in the long run, having your child apologize and see the person's face when he apologizes probably does more for him.

Q: I just moved into my new house and I want my room to be really cute! Do you have any ideas on decorating it? ThAnKs!

I'm moving soon and I'm going to do surfer hawaii theme! Soo I'll have like a surf board....flowers on my hooks and stuff like that. ooh, and I'll have sea shells on my dresser :)
you could also do black walls with neon lighting and colors..hmm it is cute.. my friend has that.

Freewebs.com is a great FREE website! You can have a premade layout and all you do is write the text! You can have a bigger site if you know html. But freewebs has NO ADS!! how awesome is that?

Q: is riddin horses hard? i wanna start but im real scared of jumpin....how high have you gone??

Yea, its pretty difficult if you want to master every technique. Not all riding is jumping though. you can do barrel racing, trail riding, or any other type of pleasure riding. I jump and I've gone about 4.5 feet :)

Hey! I have the same problem. Here's what I do: When my friends ask who I like better, I just say "Lizzy and Hil, I like you BOTH the same. Please don't do this to me. I know you two dont like eachotehr, but its not fair that you're pressuring me like this." If they ask again I just change the subject. Or I'll just sit there and not answer.

Hey Kristen! You prolly wont like my advice, but here it is:
I think you are a bit too young to make such a huge commitment. Even if you aren't too young, 2 months isn't long enough to get to know him. You have a lot more time in school. Don't ruin the best years of your life by commiting yourself to one guy. If you still feel like he's the one when you're out of school, then congrats!

Q: I have almost no ones instant messaging address. My mom walked in while i was talking to one of my friends online and saw that i only had ten people on my list. Since i had a different s/n last year i didn't bother getting a lot of people's IM, so she sent me to this counsiling group for teens who can't get along with others. I went to the group once and they said that i just don't want to talk to people. Should i stay in the group, or leave, i don't think i belong in there, but should i give it another day?

Hey Lizzy! Talk to her. Explain to her that the people on your buddy list are your close friends. You dont sound antisocial at all. I think you should give it one more day, for your mother. But before you go tell her that you don't believe you should be there and that will be your last day there. Honestly, I think she overreacted. The total best thing to do is talk to her.

Q: My boyfriend and I have been goin out for about 2 weeks but we've known eachother forever and have flirted for a long long time. It's summer and I hardly ever get to see him, but I really really like him and I want to see him more and someplace where we can actually talk, unlike church which is like the only place I see him now. You shouldn't let your friends tell you what to do. not everyone is ready to kiss a guy. However, if you are ready, ask your boyfriend if he is ready to kiss AND if you both want to, kiss. Just don't let your friends control YOUR relationship.

Q: Okay, there's this guy I like. But, I'm not sure he likes me back. He isn't very nice to me around his friends, and he wasn't mean before I told him I like him. BUT I went to a sports game of his, and he kept looking at me. Is it because I was out of place or not? PLEASE HELP! I think the best thing would be to talk to him. You never said you have. He may not know if you like him or it was just a lie. You will never know if he truely likes you until you talk to him. And he said ewww...Well that sounds very immature. All around, he sounds immature, because he is being mean to you around his friends who know you like him. Seriously, I think you could do a bit better than him. He sounds like he feels like he can't like you because he has something to prove to his friends. However, I could be wrong. Talk to him. Let him get to know you. You will know the answer once you know eachother.

I'll bet he loves tons of things you dont like...and that doesnt affect your relationship, does it?

Q: Ok so when im at school and im around my friends im fine speaking and all, but if im talking in front of groups or just random people i just blank out or say something stupid like, when the principal shook my hand and said congratulations i said," Nice to meet you." Is that normal?

Well, Actually it is very common. What I do is I rehearse what I'm going to say before-hand if it is for a speech. You can also think about what you are going to say before you say it. After a while, you'll say what you wanted to say. Good LUCK!!
