I have two groups of people that I like to sit with at lunch- my best friend and a bunch of our guy friends, and these other girls, that I only met this year (I just started high school, and they went to the other feeder school). The problem is, my best friend gets all huffy if I don't sit with her, and then doesn't talk to me for a day or two. But if I sit with her all the time, then I'm afraid that my friendship will fail with the other girls, since I haven't known them very long (my best friend and I have been bff's since third grade.) Why don't you take your best friend to sit with you at the other table? Or you could sit at a bigger table and sit with everyone! If that doesn't work then talk to your bestfriend and see what her problem is and why she's being so jealous, then sit with her every other day. If she doesn't like it then that's her problem and she is just going to have to accept your new friends! Good luck :)

If you are doing it on the school track then job a lap to warm up and then run the straights and walk the curves. Breath in through your nose and out of your mouth. That's pretty much all you can do since it's tomorrow! Make sure to keep hydrated, but don't drink a lot of water right before you run or it wont stay down long.. if you know what I mean. Good luck and I'm sure you'll do fine!

Flats would definately be cute with skinny jeans! I also like Vans with them and high top converse (laces loose and tongue hanging out.. not tied).
Better wear them while you can, skinny jeans are going out this fall and wide-leg jeans are coming in. (if you follow trends and all that)

Hey, I absolutely LOVEEEE this band and I recently found out that they are coming to my town, the only problem is I dont know if my parents will let me and my friend go. Let them listen to a song that you think they would like. My dad is really strict and I wanted to go to a Green Day concert, so I had him listen to one of their songs and he liked them so he let me go. You could also tell them it's a once in a life time opportunity and they are your favorite band of all time. Tell them there is security at the concert so there is no need to worry about your safety. Okay Last night i went to my best friends dance party . and everyone was danceing with everyone and it didnt matter if you had a boyfriend or not we were all danceing close and jsut haveing SOOOO much fun. Well me and one of my guy friends we were dacing close and my boyfriend got mad and cussed and he said he was going to leave. Well he said you need to stop danceing with all those guys. and It made me mad! and he told me afterward that it was his two friends that made him mad at me but then today he told me it was because he was tired.(which i dont get) and also i was standing by the one guy i have known for a while and we were playing with each others phones and my boyfriend just came up there and pulled me away from him ! and he jsut cant trust me . . do you think i should break up with him . and i have already tried to talkk to him about it and he wouldnt listen !!! uhhhh he makes me MAD !!!! please help ! I don't care if you give me a bad rating for what I'm about to type.
If you have a boyfriend you SHOULDN'T be dancing with other guys. You are with HIM not anyone else and he SHOULD get mad at you for that. To him it seems like you're flirting with every guy you dance with or with the phone guy. You say he can't trust you, but you gave him a reason not to. I don't blame him either, you need to either stick with a boyfriend and ONLY him or stay single so no one gets hurt.

I have my nose pierced. It's an 18 gauge piercing. (Standard size for nose piercings.) So obviously, a nose ring is thicker than an earring.
I have been looking for a nose hoop for a long time. I finally found an earring hoop that fits in my nose really well. The only problem is, that the hoop is not 18 gauge. (Meaning the hoop is thinner than the usual nose rings I wear.)
So I was wondering:
How fast does a nose piercing close up?
Would it be okay if I wore the thinner nose hoop for about 8 hours?
(After school, I will put in the regular, thicker nose ring.)
Do you think my piercing could close up a lot in 8 hours?

It all depends on how fast your body heals itself. My body heals VERY fast and I had my nose pierced, but then I TOOK OUT my nose stud because my dad didn't like it. Then next day I went to my mom's house and took my nose stud and a needle, so I could re-pierce my nose (don't EVER pierce anything on your body yourself unless you're a professional). Well, to my surprise, I pushed my nose stud through the hole with little effort! Since my nose didn't close up over one night, I think you will be fine! Don't forget to clean the piercing with ANTIBACTERIAL soap, and not alcohol (just a reminder!). Good luck and I'm sure you will be fine!!

I highly recommend NOT getting it. I had it and it gave me a TON of trouble, it's really not worth it. I would accidentally get logged onto the internet and my bill would be charged up, then my phone would randomly call people because of the touch sensitive buttons. It's really too much of a hastle.

Ok, here's the story. When I was younger, I thought of God as an invisible being that always watched you and could do anything he wanted. So i'd always say "yes I believe in god". But as I grew older, people who don't believe in God have pointed things out to me. I mean it was MAN who wrote the bible, and MAN who wrote the ten commandments. who's to say man didn't make it all up? One of my frieds once pointed out that "man does not like the thought of nothing after death, so the created an afterlife to believe in instead". Another person that doesn't believe in God said "he is just like Santa Claus, used to make children be good". These seem like pretty realistic remarks to me. Plus there is no "proof" that he does exist right? People who believe in him just say "the feeling is truly wonderful". I have asked God to come into my heart many times, but I never feel any different. Does this make me Atheist? (link)

If you believe there is a heaven and a hell then you're agnostic. If you don't believe in it then that makes you Atheist.
The reason why God hasn't come into your heart is because you're shutting Him out. Let Him into your life and soul, you might not PHYSICALLY feel any different but you will somehow feel a difference. Just open up to Him don't turn your back.

I want extensions with like the waterfall curl look.
I am trying to grow my hair out.
It is almost to my boobs right now.
I decided that for school I want extensions.
but usually I just pull my hair up,
Because unless it is straightened it is really wavy and pooofy and frizzy. Will extensions weigh this down?
I don't want to get extensions and have the hair look really good but then have my hair all frizzy in between the nice extensions. And I don't wnat to have to straighten my hair all the time. I want to just be able to go over my hair with a curly iron with the other curls and be done. I don't wnat to have to style the whole thing. And even if I get waterfall curl extensions will I still be able to straighten them? And I have really think hair. If I get it thinned out before I get my extensions Will that help it not look so big when I dont style my hair...? I am just affraid that It will look really big at the top of my head were my hair is. And then have really nice hair underneath. Can someone please help me. Do extensions weigh your hair down? My mom says that it will help and all I will have to do is go over my hair with my extensions with a curly iron and just folow the extension curls and it will just go with mine... Is there any way that I can make sure this will happen. I just want to be able to go over it will a curling iron and then Im done. IF you want I can send you a pic of my hair hwen I just let it dry. I just got extensions yesterday. I got mine sewn in instead of glued (they stay in longer than gluing or clipping and are better for your hair). They braid your hair horizontally and sew on the extensions, so your natural hair is pretty much hidden and doesn't stick out. I love the way my hair looks :) I just wish it were real! (I cut 7 inches off my beautiful, long hair and I miss it so much so I decided to get extensions)

Okay, don't listen to dancedance42 because, as you probably know, your boss can't lower your pay or threaten to fire you because you returned a gift. It's against the law and it could cost him his own job.
I think it's an inappropriate gift if there's an inappropriate relationship going on. If your boss makes it clear that he wants more than a professional relationship with you then return the earrings and tell him you're not looking for another man in your life. Make it clear to him that you are strictly professional with him. If he continues to act in an inappropriate way ask to be transferred or find another job.
Maybe talk to him about why he thinks you should receive such an expensive gift. Tell him you feel a bit uncomfortable with it, if you do.

It breaks my heart when I hear people say they hate their parents, but you didn't ask for my opinion and you probably have a good reason to hate her. I think you should either stay with a close family member or friend until you get a job and make enough to support yourself in a small aparment. Or you and a few of your friends could share an apartment or a townhouse (a bit more expensive) and split the down payment, rent and all the other costs (maybe one week you could pay for groceries and the next your friend could and trade every other week). Those are pretty much the only choices you have besides living on the streets or in a shelter. Well, good luck with whatever you choose to do! Maybe one day you and your mom can work out the differences and become friends. Just make sure whatever you choose to do is safe, don't risk your life just because you don't get along with your mom! :)

From what I can tell it seems like you want more excitement in your love life. Meeting a new guy is always exciting because you don't know a lot about him and it's a fresh personality you are being introduced to. Don't make the mistake of breaking up with your boyfriend for another guy if there really isn't another reason for breaking up. You will more than likely regret it. Try to re-ignite the flame in your current relationship- if you think it's worth saving. Just think to yourself "Do I want to throw a years worth of hard work away for someone who I'm not even sure I'm going to have a good relationship with?" If you don't want to hurt your boyfriend then stay away from the other guy no matter how hard it is because in the end you will save yourself from a lot of arguments and pain.

Me and my boyfriend have our year anniversary on Sept. 21. And im trying to make it really specially so i decided i wanted to do a bunch of stuff for him.
Here are some thing we did on other special days: Gone to movies, Gone to funland, made dinner, bought dinner, made cookies, given money, gotten flowers, bunch f stuff.
Well im like running out of ideas!!
Any one have any great ideas. I want it to be really special and im starting early because of that, and for the fact that if i need money i will need to start saving.

Aw congrats :) mine and my boyfriends 1 year is on Sept. 18! I'll tell you what I'm doing for him- it's going to be kind of expensive.
I'm buying a basket (his favorite color) and I'm going to put the following in it:
-A personalized romance novel (you can go to www.dogpile.com and type in personalized romance novels and it should give you a ton of sights)
-homemade heart-shaped sugar cookies (his fav.)
-a heart box (painted with our fav. colors) with customized hershey's kisses (kisssomeone.com) that say "i love you" on the pulme.
-a ceramic dog hand painted (inside joke)
-a ring (I don't know what I'm going to put it in yet)
-photos of us
-our favorite photo in a painted frame (canvas frame from walmart)
-a handmade whale stuffed animal (inside joke)
Then I'm going to cook him dinner and make chocolate-covered strawberries for dessert.

I want a truck when i get my license. I dont want a huge one, or a small one. I want a medium sized truck. Something built in the USA. And i want it to be one of those trucks that wouldn't be squashed in an accident-something strong/sturdy. Right now im thinking about something from Chervolet,GMC,or Ford. Right now mainly Chevys'.

Chevy definatley. Don't get a ford for=Found On Road Dead. Ford trucks aren't reliable and I would know since I grew up around cars my WHOLE life (Dad owns a dealership and is a major car freak). Chevrolet is definately your best bet- strong, sturdy, and any size (for the most part). Congrats on getting your license :) and I know you'll make a smart choice and go with a Chevy (Silverado!).

You sound really good! With some voice lessons, you will be even better. I'm a vocalist myself and I have improved my range a lot since I started taking lessons. You sound a little nasally and you tend to drag your words and notes out, but with a tiny bit of work you will sound a TON better! Keep on singing, you sound awesome.
If you want to get thousands of people to listen to it then post it on youtube. That's pretty much the only way you can get a lot of people to listen to it.

To be completely honest with you- no I don't think she could be a runway model, but maybe something lower. It's not that she's isn't pretty, she's gorgeous, but she doesn't have the runway model look. I think she could be a model for like JcPenny or something along those lines. She needs to get a portfolio made and call around places and get an agent, then go from there.

Anyway, tell him to make a myspace and search for local singles. If he doesn't want to make one then he could put an ad in the paper, go to the local coffee shop, grocery store, or help a woman out at the mall. Maybe set him up with some single women you know or your friend's moms know.
