sizzlinmandolin answered Monday August 27 2007, 3:06 pm: Probably not, because once you stopped breathing for long enough, you would pass out. You can't laugh when you're unconscious, so your body would be able to calm down and your breathing would go back to normal very quickly. It's kind of the same as if you hold your breath for a really long time. You can't die from holding your breath because once you pass out, you'll start breathing again and be just fine. Even though you can't die FROM laughing, you can still die WHILE laughing, from other things like heart attacks, etc. [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]

It actually depends. You CAN die from laughing. It depends how (whether you choke to death, have a heart attack and how bad your health is etc)
I doubt you can die from where something is so funny you can't breathe for a while.. because sooner or later, you'll calm down and focus on your breathing. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
killerface answered Monday August 27 2007, 12:39 pm: Well, you can die from lack of oxygen, but one would kindof have to assume that eventually the joke wouldn't be funny after a while, and you'd calm down- eventually letting your breathing calm down also.
