Either before you go to bed or right after you wake up (or both!) look into a mirror and say "I Love You." It may sound somewhat cheesy, but experts swear that if you keep doing it, over time you will boost your confidence.
Instead of worrying about how bad something may turn out, put more focus into how YOU can improve the situation better.
Avoid conflict and try to reach compromises.
Bubble baths and relaxing music are godly.
Keeping a diary or scrapbook with all of your accomplishments recorded is also a great way to brighten your day!

Lots of people have these thoughts all the time; they usually just don't express them. It's so natural that it's almost scary. Death is the 2nd biggest fear of Americans (The 1st being public speaking - amazing, some people would rather die than give a speech!) so it's only normal that it can sometimes control your thoughts.

okey, i didn't know what category to put this in so i just chose love life. Anyway I was wondering about all the sweet nicknames.. I mean everytime a guy calls me babe or darling i die inside..seriously just a name can make me fall. But what can we call guys? Is there anything we can say to make them shiver? can we call them babe? Is there any laid back names? (like you know if we're just talking on msn and he says : hey, babe - what's up? Can we say something like that, even if we're not dating? cuz guys can use babe howvever..do we have anything like that? Something that will make them all nervous and stuff or just happy. I know about cutting and what cutters do..but i watched tv the other day and it showed a girl who snapped a rubber band on her wrist and needed phyciatric help for it...what does a rubber band do and whats the purpos? (link)

I used to do this, actually.
The snapping of the rubberband creates a similiar sensation to a slashed wrist...the rush, the appearance, the release, etc. Usually large ugly welts appear if it's snapped good enough...and the "good" part about it is the welts disappear much quicker than cuts and scars from sharp objects.

I've been going through the same thing.
You should find a topic that are you very interested in, and start reading up on that. Poke around the library and find books that hold your interest so much that you literally cannot wait until you get home to read them. I suggest that if your problem is that bad, maybe you should even consider books that are below your reading level at first, just to kinda slowly bring you back in.
