Hello, I am seventeen years old.And I am currently a Senior at my high school.
I like giving advice.
One day, I want to make a living out of it.
There's really nothing in the world that I like more than:
Music [New Wave, Electronic, Alternative, HipHop]
Photography [I take many pictures]
Friendships [They're really important me]
& Helping out people [I am always helping out]
There's really not a lot to me.
Other than I like to help out people.
Sometimes, I think that I should take my own advice.

Well, this guy and I have been threw a lot together. We dated than,
(he liked me and my friend..:/) we broke up..he went out with my friend..she broke his heart. (I told him it would happen, and he felt sorry for not believing me)well..after a week or so..he got over my friend I was happy for him.He asked me to the movies(as friends I think..idk)we went together is was great. I wore a skirt and he stared at my legs..haha.. he was such a gentle men!! He shared his candy with me, he wore cologne..and he was just as nervous as me I think because he kept wiping his hands on his jeans. We became closer..and he put me in his 6th on his top on My space. For some reason we stopped talking for awhile.Than all of a sudden he tells me he has finally gotten a date with Reagon Reynolds..a girl in a grade younger than us. Well..I told him that's great even though..I was hurt. He put her as his first.and me as 5th.so that whole time..I liked him and he liked her so I thought..and I couldn't help it anymore..I had to tell him how I felt and he said. " I like you to so don't be mad". Soo..I was so happy..than today I asked him if he really liked me and he hasn't replied..he told me he was camping..so he's busy. I'm really confused.. I really don't want to go threw everything all over again.. I don't want him to like us both. Do you think he likes me or her..or what should I do I'm so confused!

I honestly think that he has feelings for you, but he doesn't he doesn't know whether or not you can be his girlfriend. I guess what I'm trying to say is that he has feelings for you. Perhaps they can escalate to more than just that. But the fact that he asked another girl out it just says that he doesn't like you like that...yet (maybe). I would say that if you want to be with him, you should spend more time with him when he comes back from camping. Spend time with him and once you feel like you have a strong connection, you should tell him how you really feel towards him. You might get hurt, but what is love without getting hurt?

Going on picnics is always a cute thing. It's inexpensive and it's really cute. Perhaps you can ride your bikes, that's good too. You can also take her to her favorite restaurant and go somewhere else afterwards.
Dos: Show your girlfriend how much you care about her. Perhaps you can make / buy her a card, get her some flowers, get her some chocolates.
Don'ts: Don't get too extravagant. Sadly, girls expect more on the next date. So keep it low budget and you'll make it easier on yourself for the next date.

I am very very afraid of thunderstorms. Afraid to the point of periodically checking weather.com to see if there will be thunderstorms anytime in the near future. I can't sleep during them and its really taking a hold of my life. I was just wondering if there is a way to stop being afraid of thunderstorms. And if there is does it involve being outside in one?
You should see a psychologist. They have many methods of helping you conquer your fears. And yes, there is method where you actually have to face your fears head on, but they prepare you before that. I guess if you don't want to see a psychologist, you'll just have to face your fears yourself. Perhaps do some a little investigation about thunderstorm. So you'll know more about what it is that you're scared about.

Okay so ive been talking to these two guys... M and Z. I've hung out with both of them indevidually and neither of them know that im talking to the other. its not like theyre friends or anything but they know of each other. well im going to my friends tonight where the two of them are going to be there, and both of them want to hook up with me. i kinda wanna hook up with Z over M but idk what to do! sence M is going to be right there...
Well, if you want Z then hook up with Z. It's not like you and M are a couple. What I am trying to say that there are no strings attached. So just do whatever you want with whom ever you want. I don't think that it would be a big deal. And if M says anything to you just tell him that he's not your boyfriend or anything like that.
(Try to avoid yourself this problem when talking to guys that know each other ;D)

17/m. me and my girlfriend's one month anniversary is in a weeks time. Alot of websites say "dont get a one month present" or "theres no such thing as a one month anniversary", but she asked me what i wanted. And for some reason, around here, one month anniversary's are a big thing?
She told me that none of her relationships have lasted longer than three weeks (she's only had three boyfriends, me being 4th). I like her ALOT, so what can i get her? Jewelery is probabaly too much yes?

Anything homemade is good. I, too, think that jewelry is too much. But just make her something, girls are always into that. Perhaps you can compose her a song or a poem or something along those lines. Uhm...a romantic dinner or a picnic might also be nice. I say since it's only a month, don't go all out. Because there are girls that would expect something bigger for the next anniversary.

anyway so i was out with friends last night and basicly i smoked when i was drunk =/
i feel horrible and so guilty now because its something i SWORE id never do or touch off of.
because my grandad was a heavy smoker and died of lung cancer,my mum smokes and has warned me never ever to go near them and i had such strong opinions about it.
if she found out she would kill me let alone be seriously disapointed
so ive gone against everything ive said or thought about smoking..
but now im wondering will this effect my health?,i dont mean to sound stupid but i smoked about 4cigs,could that do much damage to my lungs?
also ive still got a slight taste of them in my mouth even though ive drank loads of water and brushed my teeth like a million times how long will this take to away?

Having 4 cigarettes is going to do much of a damage to your body. Sure, it's bad. But it's not going to hurt you. Your lungs are fine, just don't do it again. I guess what I'm trying to say, one situation is not going to do much to you. But if it becomes an every day process it mught do some damage. And I really don't know how much it would take for the taste to go away, because I'm not a smoke myself. But you should gum and mints. I'm pretty sure it'll eventually go away.

I've got this guy I know at work and he seems really depressed at the moment and I'm scared that he'll hurt himself. I want to help but I don't know what to do. I'm 16f he's about 18/19
Try to get him help. Perhaps you should tell his family. You should not let him deal with this alone because he could indeed hurt himself. Try to tell his family or someone close to him. They could then set up an appointment with a therapist or something of that sort. You should not ignore this. Get him help!

Iam getting sick and tired of my older sister getting away with anything and everything.
She has more privlagdes than me and is allowed really to do what ever.
I ask my mom one simple question and i get yelled at.I told her im going to just start being like my sister and she she went wild.
My sister is 17 iam 15.
She has a boyfriend and so do i.
She gets to stay the night with her boyfriend unsupervised.
I ask to stay over at mine with supervision
and that was a straight no.
Iam beginning to hate being here.
And feel like i should rebell and do whatever i want just like my sister.
I get compared enough so why not just prove to everyone that i CAN BE EXACTLY THE SAME
if they want.
What should i do?

You probably don't want to hear this but...rebeling will only make things worst. You should not rebel against your parents. It would only make them more protective. I think your parents give your sister more priveleges because she's older and they probably realize that she's old enough to deal things her way...I mean, she's almost an adult. You're parents are just looking out for you. Just sit down with your parents and sister and just tell them how you feel. You should make some rules that both of your agree with.

I'm 16/f...I've been going out with this guy "Jeff" for 5 months now. He is so amazingly sweet and nice. There is one problem. We're totally different. He is goody goody and I'm emo/punk.He wishpers things in my ear all the time and just by the way he says it sounds like he is trying to get into my pants. He always says "your so sexy","your so gorgeous",& "sexy i love you"..He wont stop saying I love you until I say it back.I told him to stop saying it but he keeps on.I like another guy "Paul" who is my friend though. I know it's wrong but,I'm not going to lie I have feelings for him too.
What should I do??
Be straight out with him. The more time you're with him and you do this...the more you're going to hurt him in the end. Just tell him that you don't think of him like a boyfriend anymore and that you have feelings for someone else. If he truly cares about you, he would be okay (though he might be upset at first) and he'd be your friend. But whatever you do, don't keep being with him if you don't feel anything towards him.

Will insurance cover ambulance ride if our daughter hurt her back on playground at school and couldnt move? Even tho they thought it could only be a bruised tailbone, our daughter couldnt move and we didnt want to chance moving her if it was worse and we wanted her to lay flat on board without much movement .If we took her in a car or other means she would be sitting in an upright position ,which could make her back even worse.
I would have to say that it depends on the type of insurance you have. I know there there are some insurances that only pay some of the ambulance costs. But if you have a good insurane I'm pretty sure they'll cover it. But then again, it depends on the type of insurance. You should call your insurance and make sure how much do they cover on the ambulance.

Well I like to drink for fun sometimes and when i was talking to someone they said that hard liquor speeds up the aging process. So I was just wondering if that is true or not. Cause I'm drinking Bacardi 151 and Absolute and yea.
It depends. Liquor doesn't affect people the same way. There are people out there who drink and don't really look like their aging. But I have friends who drink really hard, and they indeed look like they've aged. So, I would say that it depends on how your body deals with it.
I'm 19/F and for the past few years, I have been showing signs of being a hypochondriac. Any little thing that goes wrong with me (headache, cut, stomachache, etc) I assume it's the beginning of or a symptom of something life threatening. I stay up all night scared I won't wake up the next morning! How can I get over this? I'm sick of making the small things big, but I'm also incredibly scared of catching a disease or dying. It's a huge, unrelenting fear that affects me every single day.
I'm taking a psychology class right now, and I've studied about hypochondriacs. The best kind of treatment there is, is psychotherapy. You should see a psychologists. They will really help you and your problem. It's best that you go with your family, since they will help you get through it. I'm pretty sure that if it's severe, the psychologist would give you some tips you can do. There's really no medication and no advice anyone can give you so that feeling would go away. You just have to go see a psychologist.

All I can say is you need to see a psychologist or a therapy. I would say talk to your family or something like that, but really, they're not experienced and they don't know much. Like I said go see a therapist, and they will work with you and find a therapy for you.

ok, so this girl has the new 2.0 profile on myspace. her main page is public, but her comments, pictures, everything else are set to private. i was able to access her pictures, except that the pictures that are on there aren't the same as her display pic and other pictures that i KNOW she has. so when i go to see her pictures, am i being like reverted back to a previous date or something? i can view her comments, and they're present, so why aren't the pictures? is there a way to see the ones she has on there now?
She probably has the pictures set so she can only see them. And if that's so, there's no way you can see them. She can only see them.

What is the difference between myspace 1.0 & 2.0?
Myspace 2.0 is just a new verion of the original MySpace. MySpace 2.0 allows you to hide things (frends, blogs, etc) without looking for a code to hide it (version 1.0). Version 2.0 also allows you to move things around. It's pretty narly, actually?
