For Christmas my bf got me this necklace. I can't say I am dissapointed, don't get me wrong, I am so happy he got me something! And it is beautiful. The only thing is that it is a little formal. It has dimaonds all over the chain and stuff (I don't think they are real though). But my question is, should I wear it everytime I see him? It is a little formal to wear with a normal outfit like jeans and a tanktop. I wore it to a New Years party and he noticed that I was wearing it cause he said, "oh you are wearing it!" and was playing with it. Should I wear it to school? It just seems a little formal. Do you think he would care if I didn't? I sorta wish he would have gotten me something a little casual.

No. Dont think you have to wear it all the time! Its a gift, not a commitment. Keep it for special occasions, like a formal dance at school? Let him know its so special that it should only be worn on special occasions! Trust me, hes a guy - he probably wont care. Plus, if you wear it all the time, people might start to notice. And if it really IS formal, then you probably shouldnt wear it to school or anything like that or you'll look to dressed up. And it probably clashes with jeans and a tee Im guessing? If youre POSITIVE, this is true, you should let him know privately your not interested at the moment. Say its not about you rejecting him - but your best friend and her feelings mean a lot to you. If he agrees and fully understands all of the reasons why you dont want to be with him (which you shouldnt), then hopefully he will get the point! If you really feel like he likes you SO much that he is betraying your best friend and not being loyal, then you should TELL your best friend.

My friend *Agnes and I have never really been close, but I know most of the things that go on in her life. She has a myspace and has tons of people on there that she goes to shows with and hangs out with. I want to be as outgoing as her, but I don't want to do it through myspace. You dont have to be scene to get people to like you! Trust me. Im not scene and I have friends. The reason why people LIKE her & a lot of scene people is because they do their own thing and to be flat out honest - theyre not scared to be themselves and they dress how they feel. And if people dont like them, they dont really care. Thats a good personality to have as long as it doesnt go TOO far & the person ends up snotty or isolates themselves from everyone that isnt EXACTLY like them. Just realize, if you go up and talk to people, theyre probably not going to reject you. Why would they? Just be confident and nice and yourself! Thats really all GOOD people - who you should care about liking you - want.

me and my friend are in a fight, what do i do?

Just dont worry. From my experiences, its probably just a little argument thats sure to blow over. Try to forget about it and dont talk to your friend. This will give them time to think & blow off steam. Then, hopefully they will realize its not worth fighting over or they will just forget about it after a few days. In the mean time, relax. Watch TV, take a bubble bath, read, go outside, nap, etc. to get your mind off this. If its not just a "little fight" then talk to them & apologize, maybe. But, I would just let them be. If your true friends, nothing will happen - you'll be fine.

Condoms are usually 95% effective when theyre used correctly. Sometimes condoms can be put on wrong, there is a hole, or it falls off or breaks during intercourse. Still, if you want to be extra sure to prevent STDs or pregnancy, its good to get tested for HIV and get your partner to also. Use birth control, the patch or anything else you can.

Yep, you`re completely normal. Welcome to puberty. At 13, your hormones are just starting to go really fast and make you feel things you have never felt before and think things youve never even thought of or might be ashamed of. Hey you have to download a program to do that. One good choice that I use is IrfanView. Go Here - http://www.download.com/IrfanView/3000-2192-10021962.html?part=dl-IrfanView&subj=dl&tag=button

I set it all up for you. Now you just have to click the download now button [green square.] Its free & really easy and you can do a lot with pics..including black and white which in IrfanView is called Convert to grayscale. What is your opinion of hippies?

Hippies started in the 70's. In fact, if you want to know more about what they were and believed in back then, ask your parents! They were around and they could have been a hippy themself. So, ask. Basically, hippies were people who were out of the loop so to speak. And they cared about the environment, cutting down trees, etc. and world peace. They also had many "peaceful" protestings against many things, riots broke out, and the police would arrest many of these hippies - which is what my Dad has told me. There are still hippies, but theyre less obvious now and harder to label these days.

Yes, it does. But its been happening for a while now. I hope you dont get banned for asking this question since it isnt really a question and thats against the rules. The only thing you can do about them is file a complaint and get them banned for a little while but that definitely wont stop them. And they can always make another name. Talk to advice_admin and she will tell you more about this & read the FAQ. Just try to ignore them. They just think they're funny.
