Are spaggheti straps allowed in most high schools? I mean, the dress code is pretty standard for most public schools.

In my school spaghetti straps are not allowed because it will show your bra strap. The dress code might be the same-ish but the punishments may be different in my school you would get a detention and you would have to et a pair of clothes if not from your gym locker or a friend or something you would have to call home and have your parents bring some in for you! Thats just my school though.

I recently took several career, value, aptitude and personality tests at university. One of the questions included how much you value making a significant amount of money. Of course I want to be rich, but why do people always say that money can`t buy happiness?
I think that if I could buy a boat, a nice car, a nice house and go on vacations without stressing too much over money that I would be happy. Should I choose a career (which I hopefully like) just because I can make a lot of money?

Everyone is based on their own opinion. Personally my opinion is money can't but happiness. Through my life love and care makes me happy. You can not just walk up to somebody and say here's $5 if you love me! Silly as it may sound but think about it! Of course if you buy someone a nice gift they will love you but I would think just because of your money though. You could be the poorest person in the world but if you have a kind heart that will really get you through life happy. That's just my opinion though.

i have a problem. i like his guy but he is single but just got out of a relationship and i really want them to get over eachother because they werent right for eachother to begin with. so what do i do to tell him to get over her and find someone else. or should i wait until HE is over her please help!! Well I think if you rush him into doing something that clearly his time then he will start un-liking you every minute you push him. For instance if you call him on the phone everyday bringing up this ex and saying she is a jerk and you should forget about her he willg et mad at you because he must really like her if he is taking time to get over her. Maybe you can reassure him that you are there for him though. Like call him and tell him if he evers needs a friend to listen to him when he talks you phone line and ears are always open. Or if he just needs advice your mouth is always talking! Just let him know you are there and then he will start entrusting you with things. Through the breakup and forgettingness you two will get closer and he will like you more and more. Then he will forget about her. YOU CANNOT PUSH HIM THOUGH. Just let him know he will always have a friend who is juat a phone call away. Hope I helped.

I have the same problem. Put your name on cards and hand them out to people at church, playgrounds, mom/dad's work. I also took a course in this and when I tell this to people they raise my pay bcause they know i know what im doing. I have a certificate stating this and I have to show them this... Hope I helped!

my "best friend" is a huge bitch and she lives far away from me so we only talk online and stuff.
We don't get along ever, she's such an annoying bitch and we're practically polar opposites. She's always happy and uppity no matter what, i'm always sad and mad and monotonous. She's shallow and materialistic, I'm the deepest person ever.
She has this boy who she's only seen a few times in her life and they talk online and stuff and she thinks she's his girlfriend just because they've been talking online and on the phone and he calls her his "girlfriend". They haven't even had a date.
I talk to him(or used to) sometimes because we used to think we were going to hook up, and recently when I talked to him he said "ellen doesn't want me to talking to you anymore, so bye bye." and then he just blocked me! i was so offended and it made me cry.
My question is this: does this bitch have the right to tell this boy that he can't talk to me?
What should I do I hate her so much and she makes me feel SO much worse about myself, she doesn't understand basic social graces and she thinks she knows everything and she's only 13! i'm more than a year older than her and all she can talk about is HERSELF and just OMFG I HATE HER SO FUCKING MUCH!

Ok why did you call her your best friend and then a bitch three words later? You are being very pompous when describing.But, if he calls her his girlfriend then I would assume they are going out. She doesnt have the right to tell anybody who can and cannot talk to you. Only you can make up that for yourself. Tell her that she is being very rude and that she needs to telling people this. After I really read into this I saw realluy what you were saying. Tell her say like this, Girl I know you did not tell (insert name here) that he couldnt talk to me anymore. Why are you doing this to me. Do you need to make my life miserable? How would you like it if I told her boyufriends name he couldnt talk to you anymore? Then just walk away and dont say anything else. I hope I helped!!(( I hate these kind of girls)).

I work out whenever I can and I eat between 1200-1800 cals per day. (normally around 1350)
Why am I fat?
I'm 5'2" and 158 pounds. is it just that I have a crappy metabolism? so what should i do just stop eating altogether and run 20 miles a day? (link)

That would be bad. Maybe when out running run a little more than you want to, push yourself when that little voice tells you to stop keep running. Eat healthy as well. Just because your eating the required calories doesnt mean you cant eat junk food, you need to eat healthy. Hope I helped!!

I was babysitting this ten year old... he was bein a brat and wouldnt go to sleep... my girlfriend was there and we couldnt have any time alone... so we had coke n we did it cause we were gonna have to stay up to watch him... he said he wanted to try so we let him... he started running around and actin like an indian... we got a pipe and some pot and smoked... he wanted to try but when he did he coughed n said he didnt want to do it... i told him if he didnt he would die... so we smoked 3 bowls with him and he got sleepy and went to bed... I feel bad that i gave this kid drugs... His parents never found out... what should i do??? (link)

wow you have problems for doing it yourself but makign a poor little child do it as well! you really need to think of what could have happened to this child. what the hell would you haev done if this kid died... you really need to tell his parents no matter the cost. his parents could sue yours. if you girlfriend made you do this then you sho7uld definately dump her but if you did it to her you really need to think how many people's lives you put ion danger by doing this. 1) you aren't supposed to bring anyone with you...would u bring a friend to mcdonalds? 2)your not suppoesed to bring drugs to ur job! 3)your supposed to take care of this child! JUST BE THE HELL LUCKY THIS CHILD DIDNT DIE!! you need to confess and get a theropist., this child will never ever want to be bab ysat again. think of everything this child went through he could be mentally horrified and very sick after this. you need to quit with this child and quit babysitting as well. quit drugs as well and you need to pray to God that you will still get accepted into Heaven!!

It depends on if you really like your boyfriend who is in jr high. If you really do like him then i think you should not break up with him you should see what happens. If you really like the boy in your grade then i think you should break up with your boyfriend you have now and go out with the boy in your grade who likes you. i hope i helped.

I think you should ask your friend if she likes him and if she says she does like him tell her that you have liked him for awhile and you would really appreciate it if she would back off of him a little bit. Hope I helped.

The other day I was babysitting with my cousin, and one of the kids ran out of the house and we lost him for a while! We were so scared and the child's mother was very angry with us. Luckily, we found him. I just was asked to babysit my mom's friend's kids, but I'm really scared that I'll lose the kid again! HELP!

I don't think you should be scared to babysit anymore. Next time just set some better boundaries like make sure that they don't get outside of the house. You just know now to keep a better eye on the kids when you are babysitting. If anything this is a good thing because you have learned from your mistake and you could be a better babysitter because of it. Hope i helped.

im 14/f. my best friend lives next door and we've known each other since we were 2. both of our families are pretty strict, but her parents are super conservative. like, shes not allowed to date until she's 17, she can't wear 2-piece bathing suits, and she can only wear plain white underwear, nothing "pretty" and definitely no bikinis. well, lately she's started nagging at me for everything i do and its really getting annoying. like i have these sweat pants from victorias secret... theyre just plain grey with a dog on them, it doesnt even say victorias secret, but my friend is like "omg i cant believe youre wearing something from that store!!" and i cant go to the pool when shes there because she'll give me looks and say "you shouldnt be wearing a 2-piece!" and if i have a problem with my boyfriend, i cant talk to her about it cuz she'll just say "you shouldnt even HAVE a boyfriend!" im so tired of her judging me. im definitely NOT a slut AT ALL... i dont dress like one or act like one... but when im around her she makes me feel like one. i havent told her how i feel cuz i doubt it would change anything... she thinks shes right and she also thinks shes trying to "help" me. so would it even do any good to say anything, or should i just ignore it and try not to let it bug me? I don't think you should act like you believe in the same beliefs as her. I think you should tell her that you know you both believe in different things but you still want to be friends with her. Tell her that you really want to be her friend and ask her if you guys can please get past this ordeal and be friends for all the other reasons you were friends not because of this thing. I think it is better that you wear the sunscreen because it is better that you have some kind of protection against the sun than none at all. You don't want to get skin cancer so i suggest that you wear sunscreen to prevent getting skin cancer. Hope i helped.

All of my boyfriend's friends tell me I'm ugly and he can do so much better than me. What are some ways I can improve the way I look? I just don't think I look pretty.

I honestly think that you are very pretty. I don't know what those boys were thinking when they said you were ugly. If they think that then they must have lost a lot of brain cells during their lifetime. Don't listen to them because you are definately not ugly. All the changes you have made are good if you want a different look and i think that everyone can use some toneing up so that is good too. Hope i helped!

Are you supposed to wear a bra to sleep or not?
I don't think so because it's uncomfortable to sleep in them and I read somewhere that your boobs needs to be bra free for a sertain number of hours on the internet long time ago.
My friend said that though if you don't wear a bra your boobs will get saggy.

No bra. It is very uncomfortable to wear a bra to bed. I never wear one to bed. I don't think it is true that if you don't wear one to bed that your boobs will sag. Hope I helped.

Im getting my ears pierced for the first time tomorrow and I just wanna be prepared for how much it's going to hurt, so can someone tell me how much it hurt for them? This is just for a first piercing nothing more, so i only want to hear about that not cartilage or anything.

When you get your ears pierced it doesn't really hurt. All you feel is a little bit of pain for like a second when they pierce it. It really isn't that bad it just stings a little bit. Once it is over it doesn't hurt at all. I hope i helped.
