There is his guy on my bus named Philip. I have like him for 3 years. But this year it seeme like he has finally noticed me but i dont kno wat to do. I am a girl and he is a guy. And i really like him i have never felt this way about a guy. But the only difference is that he is in 8th grade and i am in 6th. what should i do?

personally, i think that you should get him engaged in a conversation first, then become friends, possibly hang out and maybe get his phone number? don't be shy to approach him just because he's older than you. ask him if you can sit next to him when the seat next to him is open when you guys are on the bus. good luck!

can someone help me. its finally raining here after not raining in about 2 weeks and now that its raining..its heavy raining! I can't go outside..nothing on TV..nothing good to do on-line..i can't go to the mall or the movies..and I doubt I'll be allowed to have anyone over..can someone help me? btw im a 15/f

exercise, read, sleep...do a puzzle =P. it will keep you occupied for a while and it will probably bore you to death, so you will fall asleep! thats what i would do if i was seriously that bored! or you could always cook...bake some cookies, then eat them while watching a movie!

anybody know where i sohuld go if i want to get a picture in my advice column i will rate.

if you want a picture thats on the internet, go find it, save it to your computer, then its either under your advice column or column settings and you click on browse pc, click on the picture you want in your column, then click on open. if you want your picture on your column, scan it into your computer, save it to your computer, click browse pc, click on your picture, then click open. after either of these, click on save settings or changes opr else it wont be saved to your column. hope i helped!

racial difference should play no part in a relationship. other people might say stuff, but if you are in love with a person of a different race, you've just made the world a better place. because as Tracy said in the movie Thirteen, if everyone marriend someone of a different race, there would be no more racism or discrimination against people of a different race!

my friends mom is lets say not the nicest person in the world. my friend comes into school with bruses (not big ones but they shoulden't be there in the first place) and fingernail marks on her. i ask her and she just says her mom and her got in an argument, and not to worry, but i do. i really want to help her but i don't know what to do. please help

i personally think you should tell her to go to counseling. like the school guidance counselor. if her mother is hitting her and leaving marks on her body, it's not right and something needs to be done about it. if she says she doesnt want to go to the guidance counselor about it, go to the counselor and have him/her call your friend down and sit her down to talk about it. she may be mad about it at first, but she will realize that you did it for her sake, and before it got too serious. good luck n lemme know how it goes!

ok so i have this bf for about 3 months...he is being mean to me..in the halls he says break up with me jokingly n tells me he would rather hang with his frinds to go airsofting than hang with me...i really like him still n all but he doesnt care about me like i think a boyfriend should...should i talk to him maybe he will change or should i dumb him...my guy friend has said to me that my bf doesnt care about me n that he is being an ***hole towards me.im confused b\c i still really like him n if i break up with him i might regret it...im confused on what to do..

be an asshole towards him. the only way you can fight fire is with fire. and if you break up with him, you wont regret it because you had a reason and it would be a learning experience. and if your guy friend has said that your boyfriend doesnt care about you, your guy friend might care about you more than you think...as in more than a friend. i can't tell you what to do or what decision to make, but if fighting fire with fire doesnt work, i say dump him.good luck!

I'm in a long distance relationship and am only 18. I believe deep in my heart that this person is my future husband, but how do I keep it strong with being so far apart? We really love eachother however, things are just getting difficult between work and school. Any suggestions?

if you talk on the phone often, put some time in between your conversations. it keeps him interested. when you can see him, try to make it special. and it might help to know how far away you guys are from eachother. and if you believe he is your future husband, stick with it!

Well I been seeing this guy for about two months now and its great...sometimes. what I mean is that we dont always get a chance to see each other and when we do have a chance he goes riding with his boys. But then there are sometimes when he can be a SWEETHEART idk when he goes riding with his boys WHAT THE HELL IS HE RIDING??????? lol but sometime I feel that his friend are more inportant then me.

when people are in a relationship, their friends usually do come before the other person because your friends have probably been there for you longer and they'll probably be there for you after too.

you should run. another good way to lose weight is to go on a high calcium, low calorie diet. try the 3 yogurt a day plan. drink milk at lunch and have orange juice with calcium in the morning. you should also work out...like get into kickboxing or something active like that.

Well you know when you want to search for a question by category? Well, one of the options is "By adults" and another one is "By Teens". How do they know which one is asked by which, most don't have their age on it.

because when you register, you put your age in and when you ask a question, the mods know who asked the question so they sort it by age!

Hi, I'm going to a carnival dance and I'm not sure on what to wear. The weather is in the high forties to low fifties, but the place of the dance is EXTREMELY HOT.

Is this a good outfit:

White tank, black miniskirt, and pink tweed heels

OR .. ANY SUGGESTIONS? AND HAIR SUGGESTIONS? I'll rate high for appropriate answers.

i would swap the white tank for a pink tank, with pink eyeshadow, lipgloss, and you should either straighten your hair or do soft curls or straighten your hair and then do some tight curls over it. hope i helped!

People are always asking me about my love life, like people at school. I have had a boyfriend before but that only lasted a week, and I always feel uncomfortable saying 'oh I've only had one boyfriend' when people ask. I know it's not a race or a competition as to who can get the most boyfriends, but it's starting to bug me and I don't want to lie and say I've had loads of boyfriends. The thing is, I'm just not emotionally ready to be in a relationship, and I want any relationship I have to be a long one, so I'm obviously gonna have less boyfriends than everyone else. I don't mind that, I just mind being embarrased when I say 'one'. How can I avoid these conversations, or what should I say when they come up?

tell them to mind their own damn business because they shouldn't know every detail about your life. and it's okay that you've had one boyfriend, no matter how old you are. it shows that you're independent and you're not desperate and you're just waiting for the right guy to come along. and you don't have to tell them when they ask. good luck and stay strong!

OK so the sweetie i've been crushing on for months now asked me to dance last night and one of the monthly dances we have in our town. It was perfect, although it didn't last long. The only problem was that I feel like he was forced into asking me. My friend decided to have a chaperone ask him to ask me to dance. I got mad at her and said i dont want him to ask me if he doesnt want to. so she told him that and he said i really really like her as a friend so i'll still ask her. i sent her back and told her to tell him not to unless he really did want to. so she came back and said he wants to talk to you. so he came up to me and said do you wanna dance? i told him he didnt have to ask me to if he didnt want to and he said he really did want to. so i danced with him and we talked and he said he didnt want me to feel bad and i told him i wouldnt have felt bad if he didnt ask me. i said i would have felt bad if he didnt want to dance with me but he did anyway. someone kinda bumped into us and we like, broke apart. he looked kinda sad and just said "oh, is that it?" i didnt really know what to say so i just shrugged and he slowly walked away. im not sure if he actually wanted to dance with me or not, so i was hoping someone could help me out. thx and sorry its so long!

Okay I dont know what exactly to say about this but I'll try. I have this problem. Everyone makes fun of me becasue I sitll think about it all the time but its something hat has really gotten into my mind. Well... I am a music freak, and I love to sing, and everyone tells me that I can sing.. and everything.. but then the person whose opinion matters the most to me just recently told me that I cant sing and in all seriousness. I want him to think that I can sing.. that I can do just as well as any of his other "favorite people" that CAN sing! It tears me up that he thinks that I cant sing... All of my friends tell me that this person is just joking and that I'm good and all.. But I still dont believe them ever since this person told me that I cant sing... I feel so horrible over it.. like I dont even want to isng anymore.. what should I do? Much help needed... And please only serious answeres for this one.

who ever said you can't sing needs to learn some manners, and get a hearing aid, because if everyone except for that one person says you can sing, than you can definitely sing because friends won't lie to you. don't let one person bring you down. keep singing and you might just be famous someday. good luck and think of what i said
