My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

My sister is 11 and in 6th grade. She weighs like 89 pounds. She is about 4 11. She cares about her weight a lot. She thinks shes fat but I've seen her friends and they say she nots and her stomach isnt that big at all. She is also muscular. Like she is a fast runner and she is strong. So do you think she is heavy for her age?? And do you know any ways that she could lose weighgt??

Your sister is perfect for her age. She isn't fat and she doesn't need to loose weight. Now if she thinks she is, she can just eat healthier things but it doesn't have to be those diet foods because they aren't really healthy. She can walk around the neighborhood for 20 minutes to get a little exercise. Don't let her diet because she is still young and she doesn't need to loose any weight.

Dressing casual doesn't mean over do it or anything. It just means to dress nice but comftrable. You really don't have to wear dressy pants, you can wear really nice jeans with cute and classy shoes. Wearing a polo or a nice shirt will be fine.

I think you are. You need to gain a little more weight but in a healthy way though. Eat a lot of proteins and healthy food.

Um.. I have this friend who has a boyfriend.. but she likes outher guys and flirts around with a couple of them and stuff like that. Your friend needs to break up with him because she should come first not last. All he does is hurt her and if she is still with him it makes him think that he can do whatever and treat her how he wants and that she doesn't care. Has she tried talking to him about it? After all he is her boyfriend. He just doesn't seem to be very nice to her. Why might he not like you? Honestly, you shouldn't care because he is being a jerk and you don't need to be worrying about him. I guess your friend is just trying to get over him first. She is slowly hiding her feelings for him because she doesn't want to be hurt again. You just need to talk to her and tell her that even though she might really like this guy, he isn't worth getting put last on his list.

First of all your friends needs to know that you like him. If she gets mad she is probablly jelous and thinks she has competition. She is your friend and she shouldn't let a guy come between you guys. If he says no to you, there is nothing you can do. It's his fault and he is just missing out. I know it might be hard for you but trust me, he is just a guy and you will like plenty.

okay so tonight was homecoming, and i went with the guy ive been crushing on for like forever and we danced the entire night and we kissed and it was sooo much fun, but he didnt ask me to be his girlfreind like i was expecting, godd what gives, it was sooo dissapointing!!

It's just that they look at you more as their good friend than a girlfriend. It kind of scares them off at first. Later, they will come back to their normal self. I don't think they hate you though, they just don't really know what to think or expect right now.

heyy.. i really need some help well in gym we're doing flag football (i'm a 14 year old female freshmen by the way) and i get prety into it and you know.. but i get kinda sweaty and my hair gets messed up and my face gets red and by the end of class i look terrible and i dont want ppl thinking i'm like some guyish person but i'm just not pretty and it comes out even more in gym class. so my question is.. how do i have fun and be good at/in gym and still manage to look nice DURING it? i know how to look nice after ... like retouching my makeup etc but yeah. should i spray my hair w/ hairspray before gym or something? it drives me nuts! ahh please help me =(

Every girls hair gets messed up and every girls face gets redish and their make up wears off. It's part of gym class. Put deordarant on, tie your hair up and when class is over re-touch your make up. In my gym class all the girls do that. You really don't pay attention and try looking pretty while you are having fun and playing a sport.

okay first off i have two questions, The first one is ok im 13 and im about 5'1 - 5'2 and i weigh like 135-140. Is that overweight for my age && height ? PLZ BE 100% HONEST. First of all you shouldn't just stop liking him because your friend does. I understand that you don't want to get in the way, but you can't help who you like. You need to tell her how you feel about him before you tell him. Why do you think you wouldn't have a chance with him?? Don't say that. If you and him don't talk much then talk to him! Let him get to know you better and see what kind of person you are. Flirt with him, and just be yourself. When you feel like you want to tell him, do it.

well for homecoming this year our theme is " Haunted Halloween " some people are goin formal and everyone else are going in costoumes.. well i have a date but then again i dont know what do wear! the people that are going with couples ( like me and my date ) are going as like Peter Pan and Tinkerbell as like couple couples .. if that makes sense but i dont know what to do about my costume because homecoming is in a week ??

Look, you are just 15. I'm not trying to sound like a mother or parent but don't do it. Those girls who did it are stupid. They are eather just did it to pleasure the guy to make them happy, or because they wern't thinking straight at all. You never know what could of happened to those girls.. by that I mean the deseases they could of got. You don't need to have sex right now because from what you said you don't seem ready. You should wait until you find that one guy you really want to do it with and when you are 100% ready and won't have any regrets. Trust me, you can wait.
