Ok so my BEST!! guy friend and I might end up dateing. We have liked each other on and off for 3 years. Resentaly we have let our friendship turn into somenthing else and we started makeing out and hugging all the time. He has even giving me his hoodie when it was freezing cold out. We have become VERY! pertective of each other and wont let anyone near the other while we are around. I have more then deffantly fallen for him but should I risk our friendship? We have known each other for 3 and a half years and we have liked each other since day one. But he has also been my best friend since day one. I am confused on the fact of if I should date him and risk our friendship or say no and risk a wonderful thing.

Sometimes its worth the risk. Think of it thiss way. If you say no, that would make it aquward. If you say yes you could have a wonderful thing. I think that if you say no you will loose the freindship. But if you say yes and break up the choice is up to you on weather or not its going to be aquward. Don't let it be. Talk to him like nothing had happened. And then eventually you will go back to the way things were before

First off, Im 17, and my bestfriend is 21. Just lastnight he admitted that he really can't have fun without drinking (I noticed he drank every night, but never thought much of it). Anyways.. I promised him that today and for the rest of forever we would find better things to do so that he could hopefully have fun without alcohol. The problem is, we live in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania - also known as the 'coal region' where there's absolutely NOTHING to do. And I do stress on nothing. Go buy a Oiji board (spelling). It's where you can contact the dead. It can have some really scary outcomes. Just make sure you follow the rules. Also, try just getting a bunch of people to gether and staying home and having a movie party. Before I begin, let me just say that this is a LONG scenerio!

Towards the end of June, I met an amazing kid, infact he was too good to be true. Throughout summer we hung out 3/4 times a week and I was really starting to like him, a lot. He would even borrow my car when I was at work because he didn't have a car at the time, and I trusted him. He never acted suspicious and we spent so much time together I was falling in love with him. Once school started I started to pick him up in the mornings so he could go to school with my car and I would let him use my car when I was at work. And we would chill everyday after I got out of work, and we would always be together on my off days. We were together every single day & it was starting to surprise everyone. He needed to find a new place to live and it was stressing out the both of us because I'm not 18 yet and he is 21. I did everything with this kid, sexually that is, but never had sex with him because I didn't feel as if I were ready yet. & he always said "I don't need to have sex to be in a relationship." He was going through hard times, and I even helped him out by giving him money (prob spent around $1500 on him in 3 months.) All of a sudden, out of the blue, he broke up with me. He told me it was because he couldn't do it in this town, and he didn't want the problems from his past to be a stress on me. and how I had a good life going for me, and I need to graduate from highschool, go to college, etc. He said he had other things to worry about, and he didn't want to be in a relationship. However, when we first met he always said he didn't want to be in a relationship but appearantly I was differnt for him.
Even after we broke up, we see eachother every single day. Most people would probably see it as FWB (Friends w/ Benefits.) I personally don't have a problem with it, but I just feel liek lately there is another girl involved. I don't want to jump to any conclusions, because I'm not sure. He also happens to be VERY close with my cousin, they are almost together everyday.
I feel like he is bipolar, when no one is around we'll just cuddle and watch tv just kiss, fool around, etc. And when people are around he won't even sit next to me, he'll sit a few feet away.
I just don't know whether I should just blow the kid off, tell him to stop calling me or just deal with it until he leaves town, which is in the next few months.

Talk to him about it. Ask about your cousin. Ask about why your good enough alone but not in public. ASK. ASK. ASK. I don't know the kid. None of us do. Your best bet is to ask him because he knows better than anybody else. Stop letting him use your car, money, or even more importantly...you. Don't blow him off, or leave him alone until you know every single answer to every single question you have for him. If he gives you an answer that draws the line then just ignore him. You can say hi, but don't make the effort to hang out iwth him or associate with him.

hi. okay so my parents won't let me get my belly button pierced so i really wanna do it myself. i know it can get infected and everything but i'm willing to take that risk and i'll clean it and stuff. but i wanna do it a safe way so i want to get a belly button piercing kit but i'm not sure where to get one except for online but if i got it shipped to my house my parents would see it so does anyone know of any stores where i can buy one?

First of all, you should never do this yourself. These girls did that at my school and put a recular stud EARing in it. and it turned all black and blue, i saw it. SO GROSS!! When they actually took it out and realized that the coloring wasn't normal the doctor told one of the girls that if she would have left it in for one-2 more days she would have had to have part of her stomach removed. Your better off geting it profecionaly down weather or not your oging to put a stud earing in or a belly button earing in. Do what the girl said before me and talk to your parents about it. Or just wait 2 years, and you can do anything you want! haha

I've had an eating disorder but as things have improved with my eating the weight has piled on to more than it was before i got ill so i'm very conscious of how "fat" i am.

Anyway, i was used to fitting into age 13 clothes but recently I'm in "adult" sizes and im confused about what size to go for.

In PJ bottoms (elastic waist) i'm a size 12, but i ordered 2 pairs of size 14 jeans and 1 pair of size 14 trousers all from the same catalog but only one pair of the jeans fit me, the other 2 were too small.
According to internet size charts i'm a size 18 - 20, which i always imagine to be absolutely huge.

I just don't know what size to get, and do other people find size charts get it wrong too?

Every store has different sizes. A 14 in one store could be a 16 in another. Sadly, this is also the same for different items in the SAME store. If you have a different style, the sizes are likely to be a little different. I've had experiences where the size chart said i would be a 4 but i ended up being a 6. BUt, this is one of the chances you take with online shopping. Try seeing if you can return these pants and go to the actuall store so that you can try on the pants. Also, the number doesn't matter. As long as your happy it shouldn't matter if your 100lbs or 300lbs. You should be in 'adult' sizes. At 24, your an adult. Your not fat. I'm 14 and I'm in adult clothes. I hope I helped

A friend and I had sex tonight. this was definitely not the first time and the other times have been great. and he has acted pretty cool after and things weren't awkward by any means. so tonight, i was on my period. we still had sex but he didn't know i was on it. i probably should have told him i know. anyways, i'm not sure how much blood or whatever was on the condom. and i have a feeling when he went to throw it away he saw the blood on it. he hasn't said anything about it and when he came back into the room he was just kinda.. weird, not how he would normally act. but yeah needless to say it's very embarrassing. If he is still at your house just like go to the bathroom and come out and be like omg i'm on my period. Or just like if he says something just be like yea, i think that was my period cuz right after I went to the bathroom and I got it. Or you could tell a friend who would tell him.

First of all, online isn't the smartest way to look up information. I had this bump on my eye and when researched it it said it was cancer. It ended up being nothing to worry about. Anyway, get an at home pregnacy test and take it! Thats the only sure way. I know it can be embaressing and you don't want to buy one but it's seriously the only way to know. that or going to the doctor. Take your pick

My mom passed away recently and left certain things to each of my many siblings. One sibling mentioned that our mom didn't own much and left behind very little. I don't know how she meant that but it bothered me somehow. I don't want to pass away and my children think "I didn't leave much". I didn't want or expect anything from my mom but feel bad someone had the thought that she left little (material things) behind. My question is, do children really expect to inherit a lot from parents? Or what would a child (on average) expect or want to inherit? I wouldn't want to disappoint my kids (too much).

It really does depend on the wealth of the family. If your mother didn't leave much then she probally spent all her money on you and your siblings rather than herself. Personally, I wouldn't expect many things from my parents if they were to pass. Yes, I would want 1 or 2 things just to remember themselves by, but I don't expect to get a ton. The amount doesn't matter. I personally, want to inharet my favorite shirt of my moms. Maybe a piece of jewlery that was important to her or something along that line. I think that a child just expects to get a few personal things. Like, if your little girl was in love with one of your jackets. That would mean a lot more to her than 10,000 dollers. See where i'm going? I think that when your older and you have kids you'll understand what is wanted and what is not. Do understand, that your siblings were probally sad. Yes, they shouldn't have said this but maybe help them cope. This is the time when you all need to ban together and help each other deal with your loss.

Talk to your mom about it. Sit her down, find out what she doesn't like about this guy. Is it something he did. Ask her if you can have him over for dinner. Maybe, he might grow on her. Hi i'm a seventeen your old girl and I have had pain in the outside of my side and towards the back. It especially hurts when I start sprinting or doing anything that really involve pulling it up. I have been playing fastpitch softball for the past two months and it just started hurting this month, but I don't recall anything major ever happening to it. Do you know what could be the problem and if it is serious enough to go to the doctor?

THis exact thing happened to me, except I run. If the pain is so unbearable that you actually need to go out of your way to sit, lay down etc. just so you can let the pain stop then you should go to the doctor. When I went to get my x-rays they said nothing is wrong and it's just growing pains. But I only get them when I exercise! So, be aware that you may not get the answer you want. But, you should go to the doctor just to make sure nothing serious is actually wrong. You might have tendinitous or however you spell it.

Do the school thing, everyone else answered it and said that, but about the first answer with the friends family trip don't do that one because then your parents, being stirict and all might want to talk to your friends parents about it. However, they might also want to talk to your teacher about the school trip. You could make a fake permission slip and have them sign it.

I understand what your trying to ask. Try talking to him about your feelings. Make sure he feels the same way you do. And if you've already done that try putting more information in the question. But, if he really does love you then whats wrong? sex addict? So what. As long as it's only with you thats all that matters. Maybe talk to him about. Say i love you and all but we can't have sex all the time. But the real lquestion is that when you guys hang out do you always have sex? yes? then it might be just for the sex. otherwise, then it sounds like you've got a good guy on your hands. As for being 17 and possibly being pregnant again...just try to be safer next time. The only way to know if it's okay is to ask him. Some guys don't care, some do. You obviously can't be all over other guys but just ask if its okay. It won't end in a fight and it will be a lot better than just seeing it at the dance. Try starting out the converstion saying oh, i don't care if you dance with other girls at the dance(Its not fair if you want to but you won't let him) he'll most likely be like okay, and then sat that its okay if u dance with other guys. Try setting boundries like no kissing etc.

I'm not sure what kind of answer you looking for, but you know what a track looks like? Like the one track runners run on around the football field. Well, 1 lap(400m) is 1/4 of a mile. So 8 laps (3200m) is 2 miles. 12 laps (4800m) is 3 miles.
