Hi, this is Kate. I'm 17. My life motto is 'Live Laugh Love', I really think those are great words to live by and I'm planning to have it made into a tattoo. I'm not religious but I love learning about different religions. I write stories based on things that have happened to me because sometimes I have days where I just think 'wow that sounds like something out of a book'. I've finished 3 stories and I'm about to start my first horror story..very exciting. I believe in fairy tale love...the kissing in the rain, staring at the stars on the rooftop kind of love..Why? Because I'm in that kind of love and its been the greatest time of my life. And it didn't come easy.
I'd love to help you with whatever issues come your way. I've been in relationships where the guy was too old for me, the guy was my best friend, the guy just wanted to get some. I've been the other woman but I'm not proud of it. I've been the girl who waits years to be with the guy she wanted.
I come from the type of home where everyone seems okay and then when everyone leaves its chaos. My parents should have been divorced years ago and I can't stand to be around either of them so for now I'm going day by day, only coming home to sleep and counting down the days until I go to college in August.

personally i dont care. i think they should be able to get married and adopt children. i think some people are homophobic or extremely religious and dont want to encourage the behavior. i am totally straight and a tiny bit homophobic yet i still think people should be able to live their lives. they're going to love who they want anyways, why not let them get the little piece of paper that makes it official.

i have one too. its the only thing im really self concious about. i dont like the reason its there either. it's because of the level of testosterone a girl has in her body. everygirl has a little testosterone in their body some just have more than others. i dont thing you can cover it up any other way than wearing turtle neck shirts but that will be really hot in the summer. my friends never mentioned it to me but i know they know its there. i think you can have plastic surgery for it and they make it smaller.

I know what kegel exercises are and I do them daily, but when you're having sex, can guys actually tell when you're doing them? Like, can they feel you squeezing around them or are they too busy pushing in and out of you that they don't notice?

I am 13/F and I want to redecorate my room for high school. I dont have a high budget so I was wonderring if anyone had ideas of things I could MAKE for my room that would look cool. I love polka dots and the colors lime green/blue if that helps. Thank You (link)

go to a craft store and buy a large canvas. then buy some of your facorite color paints. use household items that you are allowed to get some paint on and make different shapes in paint. for example i have a painting in my room that i did where i put masking, or painters tape in random directions all over the canvas and painted each of the little boxes uncovered by the tape a different color. when you pull the tape up it has a really awesome affect with the white backround that was under the tape. or to make polka dots, take a bottlecap and trace around it all over the canvas then paint the circles. put your painting over your bed. canvases are fairly cheap. one that is about 24 x 18in is around $10 depending on what kind you get. then you can just buy some new accent pillows that are you favorite colors and put them on your bed, or if you have a chair in your room. if you have wood floors add an area rug. hope i helped

In my grade (8) we have to build something that takes us 5 hours to do. It cannot be videos but anything else is open. Such as paintings or building doghouses. I am a 13/F and I have no idea what to make. I want to build something I can use later, possibly for my room. If anyone has any ideas (and maybe guve me guidelines) on things I can do please help me. if you don't want your entire room to be painted then just try painting one wall. that'll be the color of all of your accent pieces. for example if you paint the wall behind your bed red, then get a white comforter with red pillows and red curtains and a red area rug. it can be any shade of the color. OR if you want to paint the whole room then pick another color for pillows and curtains. if you pick a bold color for the walls then make the accent color a soft color. vise versa, if you pick a soft color for the walls then pick a bold accent color. alot of paint companies make sample color jars so you can buy a little paint sample before you spend $20 on paint that isn't what you want. go to your home improvement store and just spend some time with those little paint cards. figure out which colors you like together. hope i helped

it's possible that you just like the sex or whatever else you're doing. i was recently in this situation and i thought i really liked the kid but once he moved i couldn't stop thinking about the sex, not him which sounds really shallow but i realized i didn't like him as a boyfriend. hope this helped.

Ok well I had to sqeeze the juice out of a bag of limes. I had clear nail polish on but when I finished sqeezing all the lime juice out, my nails were all clear and the clear nail polish was gone!
And nail polish lasts really long for me. They can last on my nails for atleast 3 months with nothing peeling off!
Is it the lime juice? And scientifically, what happened? (link)

its the acid from the juice. the same thing happened to me when i used hand sanitizer. in the limes there is an acid in it similar to the acids used in nail polish remover

okay so i've liked this guy for a really long time and we've been friends... friends with benifits... we tried to start a relationship... and that's where the confusion started in. so he was really into me.. but he was really moody... and i'm not sure why but he stood me up... so i've been mad at him for like a week and i haven't said a word to him... but today i just... went up to him and hugged him... but it wasn't a pelvic hug like usual... it was a hug... and just that. i'm still kinda mad that he stood me up with no explanaintion and no call... but i want to be around him sooo bad *sigh* so i'm not sure what to do cuz our relationship was the best when we were "just friends" but i really want more then that... what should i do? please help! o 16/f and he's 17/m by the way. and thankyou in advance! im in this exact situation right now. it sucks really bad. i've just been giving him space, letting him think, letting him make up his mind. i've tried talking to him just like nothing happened. like we were best friends/friends with benefits again. it helps a little. so try that and eventually it'll go back to normal for the both of us.

well, i completly blew all my chances with her
she was a friend, then a really close friend, then we were almost going out, now she's pissed at me. we both keep acting like dicks to eachother and it sucks. i havnt spoken to her all day and she is pissed, i wanna call her. and just talk on good terms with her...and i still of course wouldnt mind going out with her :-P but hehe idk about taht cause i can view this tension as, a strong building experiance, or how i think she sees it: as somthing she definitly wants to get the hell away from..

ok in real life i am the girl and it sucks. i keep trying to make things normal again and he just keeps pushing me away. we were best friends and it dissapeared within an hour. the best thing i've been doing is trying to give him space and hoping that eventually he'll realize i meant no harm and am just trying to be friends and of course anything further than friends would be great. just give it time which i know is painful and it seems to take forever but if you're friends with them then i know that friendships can't completely dissapear. i recomend not calling her unless you already did. but whenever i tried to apologize for making things complicated i just got angrier. so back up, breathe, and give her a little space. it'll be best for the both of you just to take some time to think. eventually...hopefully for your sake and mine things will go back to normal and you can work on a relationship after that happens.

when you book a deluxe hotel room, and they supply you with chocolates, bath robes, towels, wine etc, they expect you to use, and take all that dont they? like they dont charge you for it, if you drink the wine, or eat the fruit, or take the robes?? thanks (link)

the last hotel i went to had all of that. the chocolates, towels, robes and slippers were free but to get to the fridge and everything that was in it you had to put your key in it and then they would charge you but only for the stuff in the fridge. we also got a bottle of water on the desk everyday, that was free.

start by telling him stories about your life. he'll likely do the same. start with funny stories or happy stories and then if you go into more deeper sad stories he'll probably open up and tell you some. you can connect emotionally even if you're not trying to get him in a romantic relationship. i tried this with a friend of a friend and it worked. so try it

this happened to me within like a week of getting my ipod video ok so this is what you do. on the top you switch the hold button so its on hold and then turn it off(the hold button off) then press the menu and center button at the same time for about 6seconds. it worked for me if it doesnt work for you then i'd have your ipod serviced or replaced.

i have a serious problem (or maybe it's just serious to me). my house can be really warm, and i'll be FREEZING. like i'll feel like i'm outside in the cold, and i shiver & shake, and my teeth chatter. every night i go to bed with 6 really large blankets & some shorts with a big shirt & a hoodie, and i'm still shaking. i did that the other day but i had pajama pants, a big shirt, socks & a hoodie on and i was still cold. is there something wrong with me for being freezing all the time? i'm like this during the summer too. my skin feels warm when you touch it, but i feel colder than ever, and sometimes i have goosebumps and my hair stands on end. i told my mom and she looked at me funny, but i think there might be something wrong with me. help? it might be phsycological. im like this and i'll get all tensed up trying to stay warm because i think im cold. then i just tell myself to relax and most of the time ill get warm. i cant really explain it. also if i have alot on my mind i get like this. also when i get butterflies from a guy i shake. once it was during the summer and me and this boy i liked kissed and i started shaking because i was freezing and my lips turned blue and then i just had to relax and i was fine. im not saying you have phsycological problems but this is what happens to me and just relaxing and not thinking about the cold makes it go away for me.

uummm im not sure about free catalogs but there's a million home improvement catalogs out there. i love home improvement catalogs, i want to be an architect and minor in interior design so this is what i love to do. im not sure if you want a catalog where you can buy stuff or a magazine where you can get ideas. if you want a website urbanoutfitters.com has an amazingly huge section for your house. if you're a teen then try delias.com you can get a free catalog from them. if you're an adult then you could try architectural digest. its a little expensive but i like the stuff they have in there, hope i helped a little if you have anymore questions just leave some more in the inbox

buy a curtain to go around your bed and explain to them that your bed is your space. i know its not a very big space but with there being 3 beds in the room, you bed is one thing you can claim. or if you have a basement or an attic, or just a space in your house where you can get away, put some of your things in there that way you can go there if your sisters are in your room. ok this might sound rediculous but try playing with them. let out your inner child. maybe if you play with them they won't come around to bother you later. i dont have siblings but im always at my best friend's house and she has 2 little sisters that she used to share a room with, and her sister's are like my sisters. i hope i helped a little.
