freaky thing
Ok well I had to sqeeze the juice out of a bag of limes. I had clear nail polish on but when I finished sqeezing all the lime juice out, my nails were all clear and the clear nail polish was gone!
And nail polish lasts really long for me. They can last on my nails for atleast 3 months with nothing peeling off!
Is it the lime juice? And scientifically, what happened?

The acid from the juice caused the nail polish to come off. It's probably similar to some of the acids in nail polish remover.

its the acid from the juice. the same thing happened to me when i used hand sanitizer. in the limes there is an acid in it similar to the acids used in nail polish remover

Probably the acidity in the lime juice caused a chemical reaction between the nail polish.
nothing to worry about just put another coat on of polish on.
