ok so my hair is like really straight but since i have layers its a little bit wavy. its also thick and a couple inches below my shoulders. i dont know if that makes a difference haha but i just thought it might. ok so the only thing i can do with it is straighten!! it wont hold a curl or scrunch any time i try! do you know any tricks for curling hair (hopefully with a curling iron because curlers taker forever)?? and also how do you scrunch hair? every time i try its looks awful and it just looks like i never brush my hair.. thanks so much for your help!!! with a curling iron .. hm. you can always make the ringlets. hair spray them. then pull them apart. but i wouldnt recomend using an iron.
how to scrunch.
after your out of the shower put a little gel in your hair then blow dry your hair 1/2 way. while you are blow drying. take different parts of your hair in your hand and squeeze it in your hand then pull up ward. and blow dry for a couple of sec. and repeat until your head is half way dry.
then put more gel in your hands a scrunch it a little more. and blow dry all the way, using the same scrunching pattern.
when you are all done, you can put some more gel to add a finishing touch.
when you straighten your hair ..to give it a different touch you can part it differently some times. or flip the ends out or under.
it might look cute if you let it dry normally then spray some gel in it and pull your hands down your hair in a zig-zag motion.

i like this guy, i dont want to but i do. i say im over him to my friends and i act like i dont care, but underneath it all, i still have feelings for him. we have a history, i guess you can say we liked eachother, but then things got screwed up and he kissed some random girl when he was drunk. that really hurt me but of course i forgived him and i guess we were just friends since that point.. but now he met another girl, a really pretty nice girl, and of course im jealus i want him to stil like me again but i know that will never happen. recently we havent been talking as much, over this stupid hurricane it sorta put a damper in our friendship, i already lost him as a romantic figure, now i guess i just want him as a friend if thats all i can have, but i want to get over him. i dont know what i should do. do you guys go to the same school. .maybe you can just start off with a smile in the hallway. then aim? possibly. just talk on there. and really get your friendship up again.
i know what your going through.. im there too. but me and the guy dating for about 7 months.
guys really dont make the first move to be friends.. but they want to.
so you talk to him next time you see him. then move that conversation up to more convos. then maybe hang out some time.
you said you guys would never date. but you can always be best friends.

you really shouldnt be afraid of anything thing. its just a tampon. you just need to make sure you put it in the right place, and you change it atleast every 3 hours.

ok the love of my life (but he doesn't like me more than a friend) told me last nite that his dad was beating the sh*t out of him by a text message. so i then talked to a mutual friend and she said he said the same thing to her but that he pushed him down a flight of stairs and it really hurt him!! we dont kno weather or not to believe him. like he tells everyone this but none of his guy friends believe him really, just the 3 of his closest "girl friends" (me, and 2 mutual friends). they have different stories (ex: "we were on the phone and he started screaming and crying because he was in the shower hiding from his dad when he heard him coming and had to hang up"). we dont know whether to believe him or not..
once, one of his guy friends told us that he saw his dad smack him REALLY hard once..i dont know where.
please help..what should i do? its serious..also, no one knows what happened to his mom (link)

yeah..i would believe him. i dont think guys woudl tell the guy friends because it sort of shows that they cant take care of themselfs. and get pushed around by other people. stupid i know.
but believe him . most deff. because if he's joking, or not. he needs to get help. maybe you can talk to a trusted teacher. or school guidence. and tell them (you 3) what he's said. and whats going on. also mention something that there is no mother. just the boy, his father, and any brothers and sisters.
but tell some one.. before its to late.

Okay, as childish as this might sound, I needed to ask it anyways. I'm 15 female, and this other girl named; Rachael is 14. Rachael rides my bus & she was my first friend at school. I just recently moved here, she was/still is a loner too! After about a month she really started to annoy me, & I guess you could say I really don't like her AT ALL. But, she still follows me around, talks to me, etc. I'm not mean to her though - Seen as; I'm nothing like that. I'm seriously one of the nicest people alive. I really don't like to yell at people but if it becomes necessary, then I do. Today on the bus she took my purse because stupid me left it in the seat while I went back to my locker to get a book. When I got back she said, "I threw your purse out the window! Your love took the purse I don't have it!" Which really pissed me off. I asked her nicely for about 5 minutes, then I just lost it and totally flipped out, I really wanted my purse back & I knew she had it. She gave it back 10 mins after that and I ignored her the rest of the way home. When she asked if I was mad at her I said no, because I think it might seem childish if I were to say yes because she stole my purse & I defintiely didn't want to be the immature one in the situation. I was wondering, if I did right? Did it seem childish of me not to talk to her, or do you think that I did right? Thanks!!

When you move, you never find your true friend right away. so maybe you can hold a grudge against her for a little, because what she did was bad. i mean . my friends and i joke around like that some times. but when some one gets mad. you give it back.
so maybe while you are mad at her, you can find some new friends.
but i think your handleing the problem well, trying to be mature. its working.
you had a right to explode on her, and to be mad at her

so i got my hair cut today and i wanted it to my shoulders, she cut it to the bottom of my ears instead and i hate it, i think it looks so bad. is there anything i can do to make it look better?

you could do SO much with it. ilove short hair. i have shoulder length on me.. but i want shorter.. but i dont think im going to go shorter.
you can straighten it. but like flip the ends out.. and then put some wax/jel on your hands and run them through your hair flipping the ends out.
you can also make it a little wavey. you can do that by 'scrunching' it.(putting jel/wax in your hands , then pushing your hair from bottom to top. making it curly) while it is 1/2 way wet. then let it dry. it will dry more wavey.. no curly.
you can also just straighten it.. thats always cute
then you can do stuff to the top rim of your hair. like pulling back little pieces and twisting them, then clipping them. and then wear the rest of it down . or up.
i got my hair cut short on accident. and now i love short hair.. maybe you'll start to love it too good luck. and have fun!

dont do anything you dont want to do.
you'll get to that point in some later time of your life
just tell him that you dont want to do it. and if he gets mad. he isnt worth it. because he's only with you to get something out of it.

well these days we have AIM e-mail. pictures online. phone. mail. fax.. anything you could imagin. so it might not be that big of a deal. but if you guys cant SEE eachother atleast 2 times in a 6 month period maybe it just isnt ment to work out.
what i would do is try it. i mean if he asks you out. and you do like him. say yes. and try. and if it doesnt work out, or to stressful. break things off and say you want to be friends. truth is if your not feeling the relitionship.. neither is he.
but if you do date. make sure you talk - almost ever night. on the phone. and talk online. and it will be great . good luck.

theres a guy that I really like. We havent slept together yet but I was hoping that one day we could be more than friends. Anyways I just found out from one of his friends that he spent a year in jail when he was 18, but wouldnt tell me what for. Anyways, that was a long time ago, he is in his 40's now.
He is a really nice guy and I know he would never hurt me. But I'm really curious as to why he was in jail.

Usually a couple days before I start my period, I get this feeling like I really want to beat someone up that I hate. Lol, it's really weird. I'm not psycho or anything. tell him a lot about your self .. but leave stuff for him to try to guess. you can talk about your ex boyfriends . or how far you've gone .. but thats it. let him guess all the details. tell him that people think your a good kisser, but make him want to find out him self.

i have a little problem...i am currently dating this guy and i care about him a lot...i think i might even love him. and i know that he loves me. but there is this other girl. it is his ex and i dont think that this girl likes me very much and my b/f is always saying like..."i hate her", "i want her out of my life"...ect...and i feel really bad b/c ik she still likes him. i dont want her to hate me b/c she seems so nice. but i think that she hates me and talks behind my back about me and him...should i confront her?or just let if go? should i tell her all the things he says about her? anything to help please...:-) (link)

well you've got to remember.. he might just tell you that stuff so you know he's over her. or he wants to appear over her.
so i guess you should confront her, if you feel that would be the best thing to do.

ok so i am in 8th grade and i currently have like one GIANT binder that i put everything in, and its not working... i lose all my papers and yeah, its not wroking. do yuo have any ideas for what i could use instead of a binder?? i was thinkins maybe a bunch of portfolios, like one for each class?? well anyways what works best for you because i really dont want to fail my classes... thanks soo much! well i use a different binder for every class, only because i have to
maybe you can try a 21/2'' binder for every 2 classes. if you dont want to carry around all of the binders.
what also helps is a hole puncher that you can put inside your binder, and a pencil case in each of your binders.
also tab dividers are a good thing to use to keep organized.

my sister talked to her hair dresser, and then she got it for her.
so next time you get your hair cut/done ask them.
all the web sites that come up are in a different lag. so i would recomend asking your hair dresser

for the top:
you start right at your lash like, and you draw in a very thin line of liner. then you can make it as thick as you please.
for the bottom:
you can either -
place the liner on the lip of your bottom on, close your eye, and run it along there.
or
apply it right on your bottom lash line
