Q: Im "graduating" from middle school on June 13th. The problem is is that I need to know where I can get a dress that isn't to formal, but formal enough for an 8th grade graduate. Any suggestions or places are appreciated!

Q: Okay, well i need help with my room. I'm 13 by the way. Okay, so I'm not allowd to paint my walls, and I just got $6000, custommade furniture. But, the thing is, my walls look really empty...I need somthing coolin my room, im a guy. does anyone hae any ideas

Q: We're doing a lab in school next week which involves the murdering of goldfish so that we can look at its circulatory system. Who cares? It's just a goldfish, right? Wrong. Goldfish are animals too. People, like myself, have had golfish as pets. Mine lived up to be 7 years old, which is a very long time for a goldfish, but it created a bond between us. My teacher even made a joke about it, that her turtle likes this lab the best because he gets to eat all the dead goldfish. Which I guess is good in retrospect because they aren't just throwing them away once they've dug out all of their organs. It's the principle of the thing though, I know the boys in my class with be nothing but immature about this and torture the goldfish before killing them. I can't watch any kind of death, the only time I killed a fly I cried for an hour. And she has them swimming in glass bowls in our room now, so we get to watch them every day, only to murder them later on. When we did frog dissection, an alternate computer program was offered to observe their organ systems, so why are we buying so many fish each year that could have ended up as pets for other people and lived 7 years? If we killed just one fish and made a video on it,though it's still cruel to that one fish, the hundereds of fish we kill each year would be limited to one fish, once. Or even if our teacher was going for a hands-on experience, she could just kill one at the front of the class and have all of the students take a look. It's just wrong to me that we are going to be graded on the procedure of taking a beating heart and making it stop.

So, what can I do to stop this? How do I try and get my teachers and classmates to understand? Or am I overreacting?

i agree with you, but theres nothing you can do to stop it. thats weird shes got them in bowls though usually they deliver them dead when you're gonna disect something. uhh you cried when you killed a fly?? thats a little extreme.

Q: I saw the Grudge last night, and I thought it was pretty scary,and now I'm really scared. Like when I'll be in my room, (my light always does this)the light will go on and off and I've never been scared by that, and now I'm totally freaked out! what should i do?!!

ahh omg i saw that movie a few months ago i was scared by everything too! i finally forgot about it..but i'll prob be scared again now you reminded me! thanks a lot! but yeah id be like scared wheni was in bedlike ya know when it like was on top of her...ahh well just watch a lot of funny movies? i dunno

Q: hey all i am thinking about joining track next year when i am in 10th grade and i am just wondering of what should i do to start practing for track like should i start running more often or eating alot of vegetables things like that.

It depends on whether you're planning on doing distance or sprinting. If you're going to do distance, you should do at least 3 a day at first and then work up to 4 and 5. If you're doing sprinting first get some basic endurance then start working on your speed endurance by doing 200's or 400's at the track. Don't drink soda its really bad for runners and also eat a lot of carbs but don't over do it and also iron is VERY important!

Q: Does anyone know some of the symptoms of anemia, and how you can tell for sure if you've got it? Because one of my friends said that she thought I might, and I was wondering if I could find out more. Thanks in advance!

you bruise easily and you get tired easily...she should get tested it means you have low iron

Q: I know this has been asked 100 times before but I need some help. After school I am always hungry (I have lunch at 10:30). And of course I always reach for something unhealthy and not very filling. So my question is what is a low-calorie yet filling snack? I am not as active as I should be so I don't use many calories. So what is something that I could burn off easily?

Q: Ok my bf and I had sex and I missed my peroid for like two weeks. And this is really nasty and srry but need help. I had this nasty yellow/white stuff coming out of me and it looked like it had an egg in it. But right after that I got my peroid. Did I have a miss carriage. Q: I currently attend a small private school and am going to a huge public school for high school. I'm really shy, and worried that I won't make any friends. Does anyone have any specific tips for friend-making without being annoyingly outgoing? Thanks!

be confident in yourself, like in classes and stuff start up conversations w/the people who sit near you you'll make friends that way and also do a sport like cross country or track you meet a TON of new people

Q: my eyelashers are like tottaly straight!! well i curl them and put mascara and whenever i put mascara on my eyelashes are like not good.. like they are clumped together... does anyone know any good mascara that makes my eyelashes lonnger?

the sephora brand of mascara is the only one i've found that doesn't clump my eyelashes...and if it does i just comb out the clumps w/one of those eyelash comb thingys and i also got this eyelash curler from sephora too its like black and plastic and it has a built in eyelash comb thing too and its only 5.00 and the mascara is only 10.00 and they work reallllllly well for me

Q: this is really weird but ..im always afraid to sign on aim because im afraid someone will say something really mean to me and ill get upset for weeks. I over analyze convos on AIM wayy too much and I think if someone says anything like hi instead of hey or um i think they hate me!! what do i do? I love talking on AIM but Ive had some bad experiences and now im paranoid!

umm chill out thats why aim is bad sometimes you cant tell what people really mean but you could just wait til someones ims you so u kno they're not mad at you
