i have one of my best friends parties tonight.. and i have no idea what to wear!!! my mom is no help at all and i need help im desperate!! its a casual party and i was planning on wearing jeans .. however i have no idea about the top or the shoes .. its supposed to be about 53 degrees tonight and i dont feel like freezing but I DO want to look cute... also some make up adive would help too :\ .. i have brownish hair and blue eyes i wanna go for cute eyeshadow techniques but I dont know how.. Ok I'd wear a cute pair of jeans with a layered top like..wear a lond white shirt and on top wear a long sleeved bright colored shirt....If you're able too..scrunch your hair if not straighten it! Since you have blue eyes (i do too) you could buy the bring out the blue set by avon...or you could get a bronzy brown eyeshadow and put in on the bottom part of your eyed lid...then a little higher put a dark blue...then a little higher almost up to the brow line put a light blue eyeshadow! Then take a brown eyeliner and put in on the top and bottom of your eyes! Next, if you dont buy the bring outh the blue set than just use black masscara! All of this will really bring out your eyes..as for lips just put on some lip gloss and you're done! As for shoes..umm I was abotu to say fliop flops but i forgot it's 53 degrees out so wear sneakers...you're shoes dont have to be special nonone really pays attention to feet lol! ok this is my 4 or 5 period (don't really remember) and it started on wednesday and on friday night i had like very very very little blood and over night there was none at all so it was 12 hours with no blood and now all of sudden i had kinda alot what the heck!? Please don' tell me "thats the way the body works or your periiod is iiregualr" i wanna why that happened?! (link)

It happens to everybody....what happens is your body didnt send an egg out of your ovaries for a while so there was nothing to creat the blood...if you didnt kno thats what your period is..it's when an egg doesnt get fertilized it disinigrates into blood! I'm sooooo pissed off at the world right now!!! I can't talk to anyone about anything! Nobody knows how I feel... or what I'm going through... Sorry if some of this doesn't make sense, I'm waaaaay too frusturated to think!!!
13/m I'm going through puberty, I know it. Nothing physical yet. I'm still short. My voice is still insanely soprano. I don't have any acne yet. No facial hair. But I'm feeling everything mental. I'm getting smarter, I must be since I've been suddenly getting better at chess. And I'm experiencing every one of these what I like to call "true emotions": from love to infatuation, from rejection to jealousy, I'm feeling it all. I can't even remember everything else, I'm so distraught!
Now, if I had someone to talk with, things might be better. But my friends are only going through physical and not emotional/mental so far, except for those two guys who're obsessed with "is she hot?" right now. So many Advicenators are so obsessed with all that 13-year-olds-can't-love crap that their advice winds up getting me more depressed than it does help me. My parents figure that if I haven't physically changed, I couldn't possibly be mentally changing, and so they just tease me about it. I tried keeping a journal, but I'm not good at that stuff. And I'm way too busy to see a therapist or something.
I'm soooooo pissed off at the world, my life sucks. I shouldn't even bother living or making my regular jokes anymore. I'm nothing anymore... please help me!!!

Hey I'm a girl...and I have plenty of guy friends who are to much of pussys to admit what they felt or are feeling right now so i give you props :) anyway what you're goin through is normal..girls go through it too! don't let the emotions overwhelm you..you should be happy because girls love it when guys are more mature and developing all these emotions shows maturity! when it really stresses you out do something thta relaxes you..like for me i go into my room and just blast my headphones...music relaxes me...so just do what relaxes you..hopefully it's not eating though lol! good luck! ♥ caitie

I have the same problem and it totally sucks, so I asked my hairdresser whta to do so this is pretty much her advice....she said that people with our hair shoudn't do it because it dries our hair oput and make s it more poofy!...well i've never tried what one of the people who answered your questions siad but..i guess you could try it but it might dry out your hair so before you do it..put some skinny serum in your hair....i recommend frizz ease brand! if worse comes to worse just get a perm! good luck! ♥ caitie

I'm going to a party tomorrow night and I'm getting quite worried about it.
There's this guy going who I don't talk to that much...but I've been to parties with him there before. Twice. And both times I ended up getting with him under the influence of a substantial amount of alcohol.
And I seriously don't want to do it again, but I don't want it to stop me from having fun...and I just don't know if I want to go any more, but its my best friend's birthday!
I'm pretty damn certain he'll try it on again if he gets the chance, so my question is how can I try and make sure he doesn't try it on? And if worse comes to worse how can I get rid of him without making things awkward for the other people at the party?

Well first i think you should limit you're alcohol intake, because we both know guys see you as an easy target when you're drunk, then if he approaches you just say...this is my friend's b-day and this night is all about pleasing her so not tonight! Just be straight forward and strong...don't come off as if you're considering it..and it would also help if you didn't flirt with him! good luck and have fun!

I have a question about guys who wink.
When a guy winks at you, does it mean he likes you as more than a friend.?
The reason I ask is because I got winked at by a guy and then I later found out he is married.
I've also been winked at in different ways. Some guys wink really fast and smile in front of others, and other guys wink at me really slow when no one else is looking.
I've been winked at since I was about 13 and now I"m 27. I'm really curious what it means.

Well it really matters who is winking at you...if it's some one around you're age it usually means they like you. if it's someone older it usually means they're perverted and they liek you' if they're older ,and they're a family friend then they're just being nice....most of the time thought it means they like you! hope you understand!

My Tenth year highschool reunion is coming up next year and I'm really nervous about it.
This is because me and a guy that I had a mad crush on left on really bad terms.
He was the most popular guy in school, class valedictorian and jock. I was one of the nerds. He new I had a crush on him and he treated me like dirt. He would make out with his girlfriend when I would walk by him in the hallways to upset me. He would play little games to humiliate me, like coming up to his friend whose locker was next to mine just to see me go red in the face.
He even went right up to my friend at the senior prom to hit on her while she was standing next to me and then he ignored me.
The last time I saw him was at the bar 8 years ago. I went up with my friend to talk to him and he completely ignored me even though I said it was my birthday.
Do you think I should go and confront him or just ignore him? This was a long time ago and I think that by now he would have matured a bit. I want to be the better person even though he made me senior year a living hell.

ok ya a good moral is to be above the person...btu come on he treated you horribly...to the point where you should get him back! I think you should go get a kick'ass makeover.. I mean make yourself look GOOOOOOD! Show up confident...when he is talkin to a friend walk right up to the friend and say Hey, id I run into you a couple weeks ago..and jsut get into a huge conversation...and totaly ignore the other guy! If the friend trys to introduce you..say "Oh we've met, he's going out with my brother." And just walk away....slickly! You dont have to do this but I'm telling you it would work!

I dont know why your friends have a problem..it's jst underwear as long as you don't pull it out of yuor pants and walk around like a slut! Well there's one store which is similar to Hollister..its called Jimmyz and it has really cute stuff, then there's target which sometiomes has cute stuff..umm Mint or Body Shop, which is kinda ghetto but some of their stuff is really cute. well hope i helped! ♥

Does anyone know where I can get an extra self for a locker. I've seen other people with them but I figure it would be wierd to ask them since I dont know them. An extra locker self like you know how at school they have those top and bottom lockers. I got a top one and since I'll most likely be sharing lockers with close friends I wanna make it looks nice. Well you can try target, i know they have locker mirrors but i dont know for sure baout the shelves,,,you could also try walmart! You could decorate it with pics of you and yor friends that's what i used to do but..pretty lockers got old and now they're just for books lol! well good luck ♥

hormones....yup that's it..i went through that too..hey i'm still going through it! your hormones are raging (it sounds like a sex ed tape lol) and little things your mom says just drives you nuts!! its normal but you'll have to get used to it becaus eit will last for a while and if you snap at your mom alot the best thing to do is let her know that your at that stage where little things drive you crazy...she'll still get mad at you but she'll understand! hope i helped x0x ♥

hah that's happened to me plenty of times...it's because your body got off it's normal sleeping schedule so it's trying to adjsut to the one you had last night...umm you could read it might take a while but eventually it will make you fall asleep! you could also take tylenol pm i know its medicine and all but sometimes i take it when i seriously can't sleep! well night night lol! hope i helped! ♥

i'm 14/f and i'm 5'2 in height. i started my period when i was 10 and i want to increase my height by doing whatever it is i can. i slouch and it's hard for me to do anything with my back straight. i've been slouching since i was pretty young so i think thats why i haven't been growing that much. what are some things i can do to help myself grow? i want to be atleast 5'4 or 5'5 before i stop growing altogether. thanks. well you pretty much stop growing 2-3 years after your period..i know that's not what you wanted to hear but umm you could try drinking alot of milk...im freakin TALL nd it probably has something to do with all the milk i drank as a kid so..try that it might help a little! well good luck with that ♥

This is really, really long. Ok, there's this girl I like. I go over to her house all the time because she lives like 200 feet away. We've been friends for maybe six months, and during that time she's gone through some bad relationships where the guys just wanted to use her. I think she's starting to like me too. She always talks to me and smiles at me when she sees me (I love that smile), and whenever I let her see my phone she always puts like "Katie Luvs Ya" and stuff like that on the banner. We talk to each other whenever we have the chance and stuff. We're both more open about what we talk about when it's just me and her. I really want to be alone with her sometimes, but all the other guys in my grade (really small school) come over to her house too. Plus, she's grounded (for trying to sneak out to my house [her mom doesn't know that part] at 2:30 in the morning), and her mom won't let her be alone with me very often. She always sits real close to me whenever I'm watching a movie at her house. Basically, she just does a lot of little things. I never have a chance to ask her out or anything, because of the things I said earlier. There's a few other reasons: One of my best friends just got rejected by her. One of my other friends wants to ask her out. Both of them probably would've used her too. The last is the way everybody talks about me. She's been known to do some stuff with guys (she's not that way anymore, and she said that's a reason she likes me, I'm not that kind of guy), and all the guys are always talking about me and her, making up stuff about me, and it bothers me. I just want to know what I should do, because I really like her, but I don't want everybody to think I'm just trying to get some, plus I'm still kind of afraid I'll get turned down.
