Music: Music is life. I live by music. Punk is the best, but pop punk is alright sometimes...when it's more punk than pop (no avril, gc, etc.). A little art rock and classic is okay sometimes. Alternative and ska occasionally show up as well. just lately i've been watching less tv and listening to more music, and i'm so much happier than i was a few months ago. all i need is music. everything else can go die.

when ever i try to listen to music on windows m player it says Windows Media Player cannot play the file because a network error occurred. The server might not be available. Verify that you are connected to the network and that your proxy settings are correct. what dooes this mean and how do i fix it (link)

If it's music that's exclusively on WMP (like on the media guide) maybe you should delete it and reinstall it and see if that works. If not...you should try downloading WinAmp (winamp.com). It's a small file-size, pretty basic, but you can make it as complex as you want, and it's versatile. If the files don't work in there, then they are corrupt or there is something wrong with your computer.

what do you do when something is annoying the heck out of you, when you can't get something out of your mind, when you keep going back and thinking about the same thing all the time without realizing it til it's too late. Why can't I just stop? I don't want to think about this.

I have the exact same problem, and it tends to cause depression. The trick is to distract yourself. If you find yourself thinking about it, immediately change the subject in your head. Call a friend, watch tv, do any hobbies you have (whether it's playing an instrument or painting, writing poetry helps me...) and just completely avoid the thoughts altogether. Find music that makes you think about life's better aspects and just listen to it until you can't stand it. Music can be a huge driving force for change. I did that two years ago and it completely changed the way I thought. Before I figured out how to do this, I was suicidal and never happy. I mean sometimes I'll get like that, but it's only for a few hours. It was constant before. There's this guy that I like alot, but we never talk or anything at school. I', not sure if he likes me or not, but I think he might cause we always make eye contact in the halls. if you have a friend that is friends with him, tell him or her to invite the both of you into a chat, then it won't be so weird, because it won't be YOU talking exclusively to him, but you can say a few things to him, strike up a conversation. or you could even talk to him in person and do what i always do, if you see him in the halls talking to a group of people, and you know one or two of them, go over there to "talk to your friend" and then jump into the conversation if you get interested.

if you were given wax by your orthodontist, smush in onto the brackets for a few days or weeks, until your lips are used to the protrusion. you may get sores inside your mouth for a while, but after a while they should callous up and it won't happen anymore. i know when i first got my braces my mouth would bleed. flossing braces is hard, which is why i don't do it, but if you must, use the small blue tennis racket looking things that help you thread the floss through your braces. use floss that isn't fuzzy, otherwise it will snag on your braces and get stuck, leaving a bit of fuzz.

I want to change the way I eat. I'm not bothered whether I lose weight or not, I just want to be more healthy. However I hate 99% of all fruit and vegetables!! Is there any way I can eat healthily like this? The only vegetables I like are potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower, and I don't like any fruit. It's mainly the texture that puts me off and not the actual taste, so I was wondering if soup would help me? Although I can't eat soup at like every meal! What can I do? Has anyone got any suggestions on how I can eat vegetables and fruit more often, but not with them in their original state (like with them in a soup or w.e). (link)

can't help you with vegetables, but with fruit, just put it in a blender and make a smoothie...then you've got all the taste without the texture that you hate.

i've been playing guitar for a while now, and think i should take a step up from my junk old one. i don't have the deepest pockets, but might be able to manage around $400 after a while. I'm not so much into the les paul or stratocaster hype and am looking for something different and good, but not too gothic looking, my main choices so far are the fender cyclone, the ESP viper, and the epiphone flying V. any suggestions are appreciated, thanks (link)

the ESP viper is pretty similar to a Gibson SG...which happens to be an awesome guitar if you get an actual gibson, not an epiphone (cheap shit.) But a real SG will require a shitload (we're talking like 900 bucks at the least for a new one..)of cash, and that...you do not have. i think you should just look at this site (www.samash.com)...they have some pretty good prices there...
but if you do want a guitar suggestion...i like the brownsville bat...even though i've never played one, it's so cool looking.

this is exactly like my ex...you have no idea. the best thing to do is just break up with him, even if it'll make you sad...it'll eventually make everything better, because i think going out with someone like this is making you sad already. i know it made me sad when i had it happening to me...only i wasn't smart enough to dump him at the time. so..be smarter than me please.

uhh....it's about a 7 for the first week. i couldn't really eat too much. and the length depends on how bad your teeth are. the metal feels funky for a few weeks, but you'll get used to it. just use wax for a while so it doesn't hurt you.

Ok, today my mom called me fat. Well, I don't think I'm fat because I'm 13 (turning 14 in 2 weeks), I'm 5'5, I weigh 113, and I pretty skinny but I don't have a 4 pack. I don't know what to do. I think I'm just gonna stop eating and become anorexic. I don't wanna go on a diet because I get of them in a few days and they are not help.
