when ever i try to listen to music on windows m player it says Windows Media Player cannot play the file because a network error occurred. The server might not be available. Verify that you are connected to the network and that your proxy settings are correct. what dooes this mean and how do i fix it

If it's music that's exclusively on WMP (like on the media guide) maybe you should delete it and reinstall it and see if that works. If not...you should try downloading WinAmp (winamp.com). It's a small file-size, pretty basic, but you can make it as complex as you want, and it's versatile. If the files don't work in there, then they are corrupt or there is something wrong with your computer.

ughh mine did that too. okay when that pops up is there a link?? if there is click that & it'll take you to the help center thingy & you can fix it. if there isn't, then try reinstalling windows media player.
