I have a twin sister, and we are 2 minutes apart at birth, me being the eldest. My mom has always stressed to us that favoritism is highly inappropriate and rejected in a parent-child relationship, her being a victim of favoritism herself. But currently, I feel that secretly, my mom favors my sister more, and a lot of times I feel invisible to her. She rarely has time to listen and value my opinion on things, and this has caused us to grow apart.... What can I do to make my mom see and understand how I feel?

As lame as this sounds, talk to her about it! Say the same exact thing you said. Ask to hang out with her, just one on one! She'll be happy you said anything and try to change her ways.
If you have a father (sorry if you don't) this might be a little bit easier. Tell him your problems and then he'll discuss it with your mother.

I invited my friend to go to Santa Barbara with me but her parents won't let her go until they see her report card.The problem is the report cards don't get mailed until after the trip! HOw can i get my friend to go on the trip now? (link)

Even though school is over it is possible to call the office. Ask to see the report card ahead of time, and that you would do anything for it. Explain your situation. If they still don't cooperate then go to the teachers. The is prob. the last thing you want to do but call all of your teachers and ask for her grade!

Two weeks ago I got into a fight with a man that was a close friend of mine. The fight was over msn messanger. I told him I would never have an affair with a married man but that I still wanted to be his friend. Now he wants nothing to do with me and has even blocked me off his contact list. It hurts so bad because he had been a friend of mine for the last 4 years- I was beginning to think that he was hoping I would have an affair with him because he isnt happy in his marriage- I would only ever be intimate with him IF he left his wife. I can't believe what a jerk he is being- It's kind of stupid to end a four year friendship over that. Does anyone have any advice for how I can feel better? And don't you think he is being a jerk? A way to get over this is to tell your husband. I've been in this similar situation. My husband could tell I was troubled... then I told him. Of course he was upset but not with me, he was even happy that I wouldn't even consider cheating on him.
But he was outraged at the man. At first he was going to go talk to him face to face, but I knew that would all end up in a huge fight- maybe physical!
So we just called him and talked to him, and he apoligized!

well i work as a cashier in a department store and one of my co-workers 40th birthday is coming up and she invited me to her birthday dinner
well i'm new there and i don't really know her and i have to work that day anyway so i decided not to go but i still want to get her something
i wan't to spend no more than like $10 and i want to get her something cute but doesn't look cheap or like too much
as i said before shes turning 40 and shes kinda mentally retarded.
At first i was thinking Jewlery but you really can't get anything that looks super nice for $10

Hmmm for $10 you could buy... pretty much nothing!
But I was thinking, maybe you could have her take a day off, and you work for that day. This plan would only work if you had a day off. Then the money that you made from that day could go to her. Make sure you run it through your boss.
If you do tell your boss, he/she will most likely be very proud and might even promote you! Highly doubt it, but they may reward you!
This way you don't lose any money, just time!

Does anyone know of any cool ideas for decorating an attic; or any websites to help me out. Theres two rooms; so i want the first room to be like a living room with a TV and stuff; and the second one to be my bedroom. The first idea that came to mind when I read this was when you stated you white furniture was from a book. If your furniture is all white you may possibly want to read this over. If not it proablobly won't look very good.
You should make your white furniture the center of the room. Everything in the room should be the same color (except the furniture). For instance pick your favorite color (like pink) paint everything pink and have everything pink except the furniture.
The book I got the idea from was the Clique.. but it was everything white except a green apple... cool huh?

First off popular people are just people so you can act like they're your normal friends and sooner or later they will become your friends!
If you want to try out, try out, but it depends will you be playing your best knowing that people are watching you (popular people), and may possibly ruin your reputation? You just have to be confident!!
Furthermore, if that's what your friends are saying then they're prob. not the ones you want to be hanging out with. Friends are the ones that you turn to for support not "put" downs to make you feel worse!!

If you just started your period this may happen- your period will take a while to come. But I think 4 months is a little bit too long!
If you haven't been active in sports lately and you usually are that may affect it.
I would definetly see a doctor, it maybe be serious! I HIGHLY doubt that it is serious but you may have an infection that might have to be checked out!

21 is a great year for gifts becuase they can legally drink. Maybe you could take him to a bar, and say anything and everything is on me- whatever and howmany you want i'll pay for!! Then give him a little surprise in bed ;)!

Do fun things with the children! If the kids have fun, they'll tell their parents, and then call you back. When I say fun I mean- don't do something you know the parents will object to because the kids will tell their parents.

Having sex during your period is a little messy, I would put a white towel down (it's the only kind you can bleach). If you're wondering- yes you can get pregnet during your period! I'm not sure if this is true but there might even be a higher chance of getting pregnat!

It depends on how long you have been dating! My friend is very outgoing and bought her bf a boxers from american eagle. Maybe you could buy him a hoody from like abercrombie or american eagle (a popular store). Boxers are fun gift to give, you might even get to see him wear it ;)

I always have this problem. Before you do anything talk to they guy and act yourself, maybe that will cause him to like you. Then after that you could ask your freinds to go up to him and ask if he likes anyone, and then they should make a list of people and ask if he would go out with any of them. If he doesn't say anything about you then you should ask your friends to say to him, "You should go out with **" Make sure that they say that you don't like him because you don't want him to think you like him and not have him ask you out!!

I have always had a problem with friends. I used to have some reallygood friends but we had a huge fight and we aren't friends anymore. Right now I have only like 7 friends but only two really close ones. My question is how can I make some more close friends? I am going to be in highschool there and people keep telling me well you can make more friends in highschool and stuff. There is one problem though...I live in a small town with only one junior high that goes into te highschool. I basically already know everyone.Where do you think I could meet friends outside of school?

Like people are saying you will make more friends in highschool because you have all these different classes. Over the summer go to camp, bring a friend with you so it's easier to make friends, but talk to some people. Go to the park and sit next to some girls and start talking. Pretend they're one of you're really close friends, it always works!

My skin is really oily and i get a lot of zits on my forehead an nose. i can't get it to go away. i use shine free makeup but it's just not cutting it. it still get's oily. i was my face everyday. is there anything i can use so my face isn't as oily and my zits will go away? All of them look really good. It really depends on your taste.
Cookine- I love to cook, but I wouldn't do it as a profession. If you're a chef you have to work in a hot kitchen, and the pay isn't too great.
Nursing- That's always fun, but can you be around sick people, and are you friendly? Being a nurse doesn't give you great pay.
Photgraphy- I also love taking pictures- it just depends what kind. You will proably have to go to college to be even looked at as some one who wants you to take their picture.
Video game Designing- It sounds like fun, but you need a great college education for that. It also depends what company you work for. The pay is usually good.

I had to get AIM Triton because I had to uninstall the original kind of AIM, because I got a virus on it. I've tried Triton before... and it sucks. I would prefer having the old kind. But I looked on AIM.com and all they are allowing to be downloaded is the Triton. It sucks.
Anyway.. my questions is how do I put icons on the Triton, that are not from aim.com. Is there a way? I hate all the free icons the have on there and I am not buying any.

Go to the movies with him. Bring a couple friends with you incase it goes wrong. Sit away from them (behind them) so that when you do kiss they won't bug you. If something does go wrong then walk out with your friends.

In my opinon you're only 14 (almost) I don't think you're ready for sex, but if you think you are ready I wouldn't give that to him as a birthday present. Maybe as part of one... make sure you talk it out with him say stuff like I like you and I think we're ready...
