no friends
I have always had a problem with friends. I used to have some reallygood friends but we had a huge fight and we aren't friends anymore. Right now I have only like 7 friends but only two really close ones. My question is how can I make some more close friends? I am going to be in highschool there and people keep telling me well you can make more friends in highschool and stuff. There is one problem though...I live in a small town with only one junior high that goes into te highschool. I basically already know everyone.Where do you think I could meet friends outside of school?

well, if you wanna make more friend all ya have to do is find some peoples you think you could get well along with. if you wanna meet more peoples outside of school, usually its easier making/finding friends online such as Myspace.com and if you find peoples you know on that site you can start conversations with them and once you get to know someone well you can become great friends with them. it worked for me so it'll probably work for you too.

first of all, the really good friends that you got in a fight w/ -- you could make up with them! just like call them or apologize or w/e. next, if you have seven friends ;; but only two are close, maybe you should do stuff w/ the five friends you aren't that close to. & also if you say you already know everyone, so you can't make new friends in highschool, that's SO not true. you could just hang out w/ some people you have always wanted to be friends w/. but maybe you just haven't gotten around to it! o & if you go to a church, that's a GREAT way to make new friends! i hope i helped! just drop one in my inbox if you need any more help! ♥ katie

Alright my opinion is you dont many friends. Keep the friends you got. The longer you are friends the more of a chance you will be friends the rest of your life. or at least through college and so on. Im going into the 10th grade. and Last year in high school i made plenty of new friends but my old friends are still my best friends even though we tend to grow about a little we still keep each other close.

Like people are saying you will make more friends in highschool because you have all these different classes. Over the summer go to camp, bring a friend with you so it's easier to make friends, but talk to some people. Go to the park and sit next to some girls and start talking. Pretend they're one of you're really close friends, it always works!

You'll still probaly make more friends in high school. People become more mature. Most small towns offer programs like 4-H or FFA. Or you could go where everyone hangs out. I know EXACTLY how you feel. I live in a small town myself, and theres basically nothing to do out here but I am in 4-H and have made tons of friends in it. Also you could invite your really close friends over, and tell them to bring someone along.
