Advicenators discussion: Why I haven't been on advicenators in AGES

Well, I went to cheerleading camp in Kentucky, and while I was there I had a really bad accident. I took a pretty hard fall one day at camp and broke the femur bone in my leg. I had to stay in a hospital in Kentucky for 6 nights. During that time I had surgery on my leg; they put a rod in the bone so i don't have to wear a cast. I got home this morning, but I can't move at all by myself and it's a 15 minute ordeal just to go to the bathroom! But whatever, it's good to be home. Also, i don't think I'm ever going to be able to cheer again, which absolutely tears me up! Cheerleading is my life and the athletes at my gym are like a second family. Not to turn this into a sob story, but I thought it was worth telling the advicenators crew. [Sorry for writing a book]

Why won't you be able to cheer?
Were you a flyer?
If you don't do the high impact stuff for awhile, I don't see why you can't cheer at all.
Like instead of a roundoff backhandspring backtuck, you could do, like, a somersault.

well yea, I guess if i could get away with doing a somersault, I could. But I can't. I don't have full mobility in my knee anymore and my doctor said I could never tumble, and thats like half of cheerleading. Yea, I was a flyer. It just sucks. The team I'm on isn't going to let me cheer on it without tumbling lol. Uggghhhh. I hate broken legs =(

Oh, thanks =] I was kind of mad about that. I guess she wanted me tell her to force a bunch of information down her throat on how cutting herself is so bad, blah blah blah... Oh well. Thanks a bunch though.
