You can only finish the sentence in the topic, "Amy is..." with few words.
Only Amy can post something other than "Amy is...".

The test didn't go as well as I had thought, but I still have a B in the class, so as long as I do okay on the next test, he said I'm guaranteed an A.
Emphasis on doing okay on the next test.

Homework and tests are weighted the same, but there are more homework points.
And he said if I got a zero on the test, I'd have a B.

This is through your school, right?
My school doesn't weight homework and tests the same.. they actually do this thing called "Formative and Summative". Formative is things like homework, classwork, and small quizzes. Summative is large projects, large tests, large quizzes, etc.
Formative is worth, on average [as its different in each class], about 30-35 percent of your overall grade in a card marking [my school has six total.. three per semester] and Summative is about 65-70 percent of your overall grade. So your grade for a card marking pretty much relies on how good of a test taker you are. I, thankfully, am a great test taker, and I do fine. For others, it screws them over because if they had a bad day on the test day, their whole grade could plummet into nothingness.

It's through a local, private high school, not my own.
Homework is 40% and tests are 40%. The final is 20%.
And, as for the A, easier said than done. I'm not a good test taker.
But I should be okay.
