Does wearing all black make me gothic if i wear it all the time? i like to wear black jeans with black dress shoes and black turtle neck with a black suit jacket People say i look like im going to a funeral when im not Im just embracing my darker side

I wear black all the time... black on black. I think more of a darker funeral side is like caking your face with black makeup and black nail polish. Black hair, I think that is more gothic. you wear whatever you want who cares what anyone else says or thinks :)

I can't say I understand how the tradition of wearing black to funerals started but I know not everyone does. I recently went to a wedding where half the people seemed to being wearing black or dark colors. It shouldn't matter. If you are being teased and want to know how to deal with that, then ask that question on here dear.

Dressing in all black is probably something one would do if they feel that is the gothic look for them. Dressing in all black doesn't necessarily make you goth though. Some people just like wearing black. :)
Those who consider themselves goth do wear color too. I think goth is a state of mind really. If you enjoy black though, go for it!
