Hi. Can see you have some good answers already. Might add that 'being fingered' can cover a range of actual actions. The object is really to give you pleasureable sensations. You might well find that if you get your boyfriend to concentrate on your clitoris (which is mostly 'outside', at the top), maybe touching you there with quite rapid little 'circles' using his fingertip it will feel very pleasurable indeed! Hymens are elastic and most stretch out over time or by use of tampons for one, toys and your fingers or his can do that too. There is nothing to pop as it doesn't cover the whole entrance to the vagina because if it did, your period fluids couldn't flow out once a month.
What a hymen can do is tear but will heal quickly on its own and not give any discomfort. Reasons for tearing, not use of any lube or not enough lubrication, forcing something bigger than the circumferance of the ring of hymen skin into you too quickly for the skin to be able to slowly stretch. What happens with a rubber band when you pull it beyond it's limit of how far it can stretch? It's breaks and snaps. If you mean can you lose your virginity? The answer is no. By today's definition one, male or female, can only lose their virginity when a penis has penetrated a vagina for the first time. If either partner has never penetrated or been penetrated before this. Up to the moment of penetration they are considered a virgin.
What fingering can do is rupture your Hymen. The Hyman is the little bit of tissue that partially blocks the entrance to your vagina and is just inside the opening of the vagina. Now there are many ways to dislodge your Hymen fingering is just one way. If you use tampons you may have already dislodged it. If you rode bikes, horses or take gymnastics you may have already dislodged your Hymen. A missing Hyman no longer means you are not a virgin and has not meant that for many decades as women have become more active physically.
