Parents abusing me please help
Hey my parents are emotionally abusing me but i doubt they know it. I feel like i am slowly suffocating to death. I don't like feeling like this and I just want to be normal rather than be depressed. They won't understand even if i talk to them because although they think they are modern, they really are not. My father always thinks that he is right and all my life choices have been made for me already. Do you think i should commit suicide?I don't want to live like this anymore and I can't live with my pride stripped away. I don't want to be so selfish and just die but its not like I am ever going to be happy in the shade of my parents so what's the point?My religion is against suicide too but am at the point of no return.So many things have happened and I can't forget all those bitter memories and its close to killing me dad by day.I used to have endless dreams but they all hold no meaning anymore.What do i do?I can't even take it one day at a time, should i just die?I feel so pathetic please help me please i don't know what to do

LET ME START OFF BY SAYING SUICIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER, THO YOU MAY BE LEAVING THIS WORLD YOU WILL REENTER ANOTHER THAT IS ALOT WORSE AND MORE PAINFUL THAN ANYTHING YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE, THIS IS A CAKEWALK COMPARED TO WHAT YOU WILL FACE. AT LEAST THERE IS HOPE HERE AND A CHANCE OF TURN AROUND. WHERE YOU WILL END UP AFTER DEATH THERE IS NO HOPE AND ETERNAL , SUFFERING, BURNING PAIN THAT NEVER STOPS EVER FOR ETERNITY AT LEAST WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH NOW IS TEMPORAL AND ONLY FOR A SEASON, DEATH IS FOREVER AND EVER WITH NON STOP SUFFERING THAT NEVER QUITS, A HECK OF ALOT WORSE THAN WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH NOW.
AS FAR AS YOUR PARENTS ARE CONCERNED, YOU CAN'T GIVE WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE, IN OTHER WORDS NO ONE CAN UNDERSTAND YOU IF THEM THEMSELVES HAVE NOT BEEN UNDERSTOOD. ONE CAN'T LOVE , TRUST, FORGIVE, LISTEN, NO MATTER WHAT IT MAY BE, IF THEM THEMSELVES HAD NOT RECEIVED. SO AGAIN ONE CANNOT GIVE WHAT THEY DON'T HAVE, I BELIEVE THAT'S WHY THEY MAY NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING , NOTICE THAT ABUSE IS EVEN OCCURRING, OR HOW IT'S EFFECTING YOU, AND I'M SORRY YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT. ALSO I KNOW IT'S HARD TO HAVE YOUR DREAMS SWEPT AWAY ONLY TO BE REPLACED WITH DREAMS OF ANOTHER AND THE LORD DOES SAY TO HONOR THY MOTHER AND FATHER SO THAT MUST BE DONE, BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS THERE IS HOPE AND YOUR DREAMS WILL STILL COME TO YOUR REALITY AND I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU HOW THROUGH THE GUIDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
HERE IS WHAT YOU DO. THERE IS A PROCESS CALLED CHEW THE FISH AND SPIT OUT THE BONES. WHAT THAT MEANS IS, LISTEN , OBEY, HONOR YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER, THAT'S CHEWING THE FISH. PRAYING, ASKING FOR GUIDANCE , BELIEVING YOUR DREAMS , BELIEVING IN YOURSELF KNOWING YOU WILL BE GROWN AND ON YOUR OWN AT SOME POINT, THIS SITUATION IS NOT FOREVER ONLY A SEASON, KEEPING THAT IN MIND WILL ALLOW YOU THAT PIECE OF MIND AND ROOM TO RETHINK YOUR DREAMS. WE LIVE TO PLEASE GOD NOT OTHERS. IN MATTHEW 10:37 IT STATES IF YOU DON'T HATE YOUR MOTHER, FATHER, SISTER, BROTHER, EVEN YOUR OWN KIDS YOU CANNOT FOLLOW ME, WHAT THAT MEANS IS WHEN AND WHILE YOU PRAY TO GOD TO OPEN ALL DOORS THAT NEEDS TO BE OPEN AND CLOSE ALL DOORS THAT NEEDS TO BE CLOSED,AND ASKING HIM TO GUIDE AND DIRECT YOUR PATH, AND TO DO HIS WILL AND NOT THAT OF OTHERS IT WILL UPSET AND DISAPPOINT YOUR LOVE ONE'S AND YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE AND MAKE THE DECISION OF WHETHER OR NOT YOU WILL HURT YOUR PARENTS BY DOING THE WILL FOR YOU AND YOUR PURPOSE AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME, AND NOT THAT OF OTHERS . APPROPRIATE TIME MEANING WHEN YOUR ON YOUR OWN. RENEW YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, AND KNOW THAT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE IS ONLY FOR A SEASON. BUT AT THE TIME YOUR UNDER YOUR PARENTS YOU STILL OBEY AND HONOR THEM . YOU SPIT OUT THE BONES, THE BONES BEING THE THINGS THAT GET YOU CHOKED UP , THE THINGS YOU KNOW DON'T DEFINE YOUR FUTURE , DON'T SWALLOW THE THINGS YOU KNOW NOT TO BE TRUE OR AFFECTIVE TO YOUR LIFE , CAUSE WHEN YOU SWALLOW IT YOU NOT ONLY CHOKE BUT YOU BECOME SICK , DEPRESSED, AND SUICIDAL , SPIT IT OUT WITH A SMILE ON YOUR FACE AND TALK TO THE LORD. MOVE ON, I GUARANTEE RESPECT AND HONOR YOUR PARENTS FOR THE SEASON YOUR WITH THEM , IN THE PROCESS SPIT OUT THE BONES THAT CRUSH YOU ,PRAY , STAY UP IN FAITH, ASK GOD FOR GUIDANCE,ASK GOD TO OPEN DOORS THAT NEED TO BE OPEN, AND CLOSE DOORS THAT NEED TO BE CLOSED, AND HE WILL MAKE A WAY OUT OF NO WAY , AND ALL OF YOUR DREAMS ACCORDING TO GOD'S WILL FOR YOU WILL HAPPEN

I am sorry you are going through this, and I bet you feel alone, but you not lots of people , children, and teens alike go through series of abuse inside their home. Don't focus your energies with suicide, You need an outlet. Coming to advicenators is the best place in the world to vent, We as columnists are here to help you when you have nobody to talk to. Suicide is not a solution it is the wrong answer to the problem. IF you lived in the USA I would offer you a number of different options for places to call or ask for help. One of which might be available in Singapore is to talk with a trusted teacher and see if the school can help you.
What I am reading tells me that the problem may be a difference in culture and age issues. In your culture it has been the father's responsibility to plan for the future of his children up to and including who they might marry. This is more true for a daughter. In more recent times this part of your culture has given way to the more westerns way of life.
I'm not sure if the URL provided below will help though they do offer a variety of family services. If you are depressed and contemplating suicide I ask that you give them a call.
