Boyfriends wants me to talk to his sister
My boyfriend has a 9 year old little sister. I would love to speak to her on the phone someday but I dont know what I would say to her. Any advice?

Before you talk to little sis on the phone ask your boyfriend what she is into. It will help if you can find something in common with her. Most kids are naturally talkative. Just ask her what she is doing on her summer vacation or if she has any pets and what she does for fun. Tell her what your hobbies are and ask her if she has ever tried any of them. Ask her if she likes to swim or what her favorite foods are. If she doesn't seem open to questions right away then tell her about yourself, about your pets, your friends and your school. I am sure she will warm up to you as soon as you find something in common.

I'm going to just assume that you have not talked to her prior to this. If so I would ask her: about her hobbies, her interests, school what she wants to be when she grows up. Nothing serious, but show that you have interest in her. Good luck!

I went through something similar. My ex-boyfriend wanted me to talk to his 7 year old niece. So just start with a simple, "hi"
and then ask how she is. How's summer going for her, what she'd like to do. Maybe ask her if she'd like to go to the beach or the pool with you and your boyfriend. Or you could ask her what's her favorite place to go in the summer and then say if she'd like to go sometime.
I think getting along with your partner's siblings is a very important thing and if you can get this little girl on your side, you'll have the family's seal of approval. So just be nice, and you should be fine.
