I know there are charts that will indicate what is a healthy amount to lose per week and per month. Weight doesnt add on to your body quickly or overnight, therefore, it really can't be lost any faster than it was gained.
What helps though is diet and taking into account your bodys particular metabolism. I have a high metabolism which is the rate at which I process food into energy, how I burn up calories. A person with a higher/faster metabolism isn't going to need to exercise as hard as someone with a slower metabolism.
Wiki how has an article that explains what it is and how to increase the metabolism to help lose weight. Heres the link: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) [ Dragonflymagic's advice column | Ask Dragonflymagic A Question ]
dolphina answered Monday March 24 2014, 8:55 am: 1) Workout -- do cardio 30-40 mins a day, 5-6 days a week.
2) Eat right -- focus on eating as much fruits and vegetables as you can. Look up Freeleethebananagirl on youtube, she is a vegan who eats about 5,000 calories a day but is TINY. Her videos are entertaining and she is amazing. If you are eating the right things, you don't need to restrict your calories [ dolphina's advice column | Ask dolphina A Question ]

Eat less and healthier. Here is a link to a question I answered previously which could help you: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
