rainhorse68 answered Friday October 4 2013, 6:22 am: No, cotton is a natural fabric, made as you'd guess from cotton which grows. Rayon is synthetic, meaning man-made. Cotton dries at a higher temperature and if you want to press it nicely you use a hot iron. Ironing rayon at this temperature will make it sort of melt and shrivel.
