So when he asked me how old i was. I said 16.. But turned out he was 14. And im 12.. I never knew that we would become such good friends.. But we did... And i want to tell him. But i dont know how. I just dont want to loose him.. </3 Please help. :c
In fact lying, Can actually make people NOT wabt anything to do with you. Liars come across as being "fake"
You need to realize that the internet is definately NOT a safe olace to meet people or even lie about yourself. Never ever give out personal details to someone you do not know personally. No name, address, phone numbers and NO PICTURES. You don't know who is really on the other end. Also, As a 12 year old IF you were to send partly nude or nude photos of yourself it would be child pornography.

You need to learn how to be smart on the internet, lots of bad things happen.
He's probably going to get mad. It's ok for him to get mad because you did lie to him, so let him be upset.
If he forgives you, then there you go. If he doesn't, then you guys weren't real friends. [ lightoftruth's advice column | Ask lightoftruth A Question ]

Okay, here's what you need to do - Next time you're chatting with him, tell him you have a confession to make and tell him you're 12 and the reason why you told him that you're 16. If he's really a good friend he will forgive you. He might be a little angry at first but he will understand. He's entitled to be angry with you. I don't know how long you've both been friends, so I can't tell you much. But good friends do forgive you. All the best! [ mimzee's advice column | Ask mimzee A Question ]
