How to talk to him

Question Posted Tuesday August 13 2013, 3:15 am

OK! I'm a 14/f and I've been talking with my crush who is just a few years older than me (not much and don't talk about age, its not that huge of an age gap) we are both mature and are both in a school activity. Since it's summer we text literally everyday. I love talking to him (its very easy talking to him :D) and lately we are both struggling to find topics. Cause I can tell he likes talking to me just as much as I like talking to him. I want to keep conversation fun and continuous but I need help with ideas. So please give ideas!! We usually talk about the activity we are both in and how our days are. SO PLEASE HELP!!!! :)

Okay so heres the thing! You both like talking right! Maybe tell a joke or play a game or something. Or you could maybe tell him how you feel because then you might have a shot at going out so then you would have a lot to talk about you're fourteen so maybe go to the park or beach and I know because you're fourteen you have a lot on you plate at the moment, like puberty and things so just go with the flow and see where it takes you.

Maybe talk about your interests, family, pets, school, ect.
I mean there are so many things in the world, so there is always something to talk about.
You can also talk about deeper things, like things you are passionate about, fears, hopes and dreams, ect.

When I run out of ideas to talk to a guy about, we'll normally take turn asking questions.

Something I always like to talk about with my crush or wih new friends over text is like 20 questions / truth (depends on what you'd like to call it). Basically you ask each other questions about anything you'd like to know and they have to answer truthfully and honestly. Ive always liked conversations like this because it gives you more things to talk about after you find out something about the person and you can find more common interests! Hope this helps!:) and you could always go out to the movies or hangout with him too! that's always a possibility!
