How do I get my hair to dry without frizz?

Question Posted Wednesday July 24 2013, 10:34 pm

So my hair is naturally wavy/frizzy and I was wondering if there are any products I could put in my hair... without blow drying or straightening that would get it to dry straight or smooth?
I got the keratin treatment done but was unhappy that I had to still straighten it.

I have naturally curly hair (super frizzy some days) and what works best for me is NOT shampooing my hair when I wash it and then using a anti-frizz serum or leave in conditioner after I towel dry it. Another tip is instead of 'scrubbing' your hair with the towel to dry, just 'squeeze-dry' your hair. By doing this you prevent your hair folicles from' frizzing' up more than they have to. Hope this helps!

I have the same problem as you. I went to a beauty store and bought an olive-based cream product for my hair and it seemed to work well. It seemed to do me well. I don't have the name for it but that's okay because what seems to help the frizz go away is after washing your hair, put some hair-based cream product in thoroughly (friz-ease was a good one) and then begin to blow dry with the nozzle always facing downward (if you choose to use it). After putting in the cream product, dry your hair out a bit more (if you didn't blow dry) to remove the excess product(preventing your hair from becoming excessively oily once dried). Also keep your hair combed well why it is drying with the product in. But going back to the olive product, try finding one, it doesn't have to be any specific brand but if the bottle says its olive based, try it. Smells really well and works well on frizz and keeps your hair smooth!
