Question Posted Saturday May 25 2013, 8:03 pm
Hi! I am going to a school trip overnight next week, I can't wait to go!
I wonder and wanted to know of what should I bring?
The bus is going to be very cold.
I might get on water rides or just rides.
So any clothes of what should I bring? and etc.
Should I bring snacks like chips, candy and etc..?
It's going from 5:30am to 12:00am Any suggestions? Thanks. (: (Please answer)

There are big hills at the one I went to and I don't always trust people to watch my stuff on rides. I did see a lot of people carrying backpacks though (I didn't know that was allowed) so at most I'd wear a sweater and bring food because theirs is expensive. Water too. Then you can take off your sweater too. I wore shorts and a tshirt but it was cold in the morning and heated up around 11 so that should be judged by where you are and how you feel. And also, the one I went to I was expecting it to be like a six flags idea, when there were only 4 or 5 rides. But that was in Californial.

Well, I'd definitely bring a change of clothes just in case you want to change after you get on water rides. Bring a sweater or jacket too. Regular clothes are good, depending on the weather so adjust to that. Just don't dress heavy.
I'd say wear a couple hair ties on your wrist just in case you want your hair up. Braids always help if you have long hair because hair gets messy only rides.
I'd bring snacks for the ride.
Bringing a bag of some sort can be good but at some places you have to pay to put it in a storage thing each time you go on a ride so that can be inconvenient. But if they don't and just have little cubbie holes and you don't mind carrying around a little bag then go for it.
And definitely bring money for food and water. And if you want to get something at a gift shop.

I think you need to bring a change of clothes. So wear something that you don't min getting wet at first, and then change into the spare clothes after. These days, people just wear like a tank top and cheap leggings-don't be the person who wears a swimming costume-only unless you plan to actually be swimming. Be sure to bring some spare change with you, as the toilets may cost to get in, so you'll need to money to change clothes.
There is the option of wearing a tank top and leggings underneath say some jeans and a top, and that way you don't have to be a burden on everyone by going to the toilets to change.
Also, its best to bring nibbles to keep you going-food wise, throughout the day. You want something that doesn't take too long to eat. It sounds like a pretty action packed trip! Bring things like a wrap for lunch, and whatever you want, so ypu can just pop it in and go-you don't need a fork or whatever to eat it with.
Make sure you bring a fleece or something for the bus if you know its cold. To recap:
1)A light lunch-a small wrap and other things
2)A Towel
3)A fleece
4)Leggings and a tank top underneath what you're already wearing.
5)A camera
6)A cool but large bag to carry it all in
7)Spare change-not so much notes, just in case theres a gift shop and for the toilets
7=8)Oh, and if you're hair is long, wear it in a ponytail-that way if you do go on water rides, it wont look messed up afterwards. [ kittenlover2000's advice column | Ask kittenlover2000 A Question ]
