Question Posted Monday April 29 2013, 8:19 pm

I have this friend, I've liked him on and off for a while and he doesn't really show his feelings very well. A while back he told one of my close friends that he liked me a lot but she didn't tell me until it was too late. We don't talk much anymore and should I tell him I know about it so he knows that I still have feelings for him??

You say he's your friend?

Well, if he is your friend, go right ahead and tell him- he wont mind, esspecially if its in the past for him now. But be prepared for an awkward conversation if you say this too soon, so maybe start with small talk and then maybe jokingly mention how he used to like you... and how you may have given him a chance... "but its too late now right?" at this point, you give a flirtatious wink or something- If you do it cheesy enough he may just smile and agree with you, and then you have closure. The only way to get over him is have it confirmed nothing will ever happen.

However, you never know, he might acctually turn around and suggest you two give it a go! The conversation may turn serious then- ideal for you.

So in summary >soz for the long answer< :
Bring it up if you feel confident enough, but be prepared, cus things like this easily get uncomfortable- but if they work out, its worth it.
