I am 16 and my boobs have been hurting alot lately i am not sexually active but I do masturbate. Would masturbation have anything to do with my boobs hurting. I also think its Because of my period, but my period isn't support to come until two more weeks. Should I be worried or does this just mean my boobs are growing.?
It's do do with fluctuating hormones (basically hormonal changes in your body). Before your period starts hormones are produced (oestrogen and progesterone) and they can cause PMS symptoms like sore breasts and other PMS symptoms.
Another reason why your breasts would hurt is growing pains which is where your breasts can hurt or are sore/tender because your breasts are growing. You are 16 and breasts can stop growing in your late teens to early 20's. So this may also be another possibility. [ Tigz285's advice column | Ask Tigz285 A Question ]

As you continue through puberty your hormone levels will fluctuate and new hormones are released. While you are still going through puberty, the advanced ages, is when the more subtle changes in your body shape and form takes place. For lack of another term you can if you want call what you are experiencing growing pains. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]
Ersted answered Monday April 15 2013, 10:32 pm: All women have a cycle in which hormones fluctuate. Some hormones can cause sore boobs. My sister often gets sore boobs at some point during her cycle, personally mine are never sore.
Also their texture might change, becoming firmer or softer.
The period is not the only part of the cycle in which hormonal changes can occur, it is only the most obvious due to the bleeding. [ Ersted's advice column | Ask Ersted A Question ]
