Something else that you could try is a Sudoku, crossword puzzle, or word search book. You can do these at your desk and the teacher probably wouldn't even notice because it would look like you were working on something for the class. Just don't stop paying attention to the lessons entirely because you might miss something important! :)

adviceman49 answered Friday March 1 2013, 1:22 pm: It sounds like you may be in some classes that are to slow for you, meaning the teaching level is geared to slower learners.
If you are getting good grades in these classes A & B type grades. Then it may be possible to be placed in an higher learning level class. Given the time of the year these classes will be far ahead of where you are in your present class so you would have a lot of work to do to catch up.
For a proper education you should find your classes challenging not boring. If this is the case with you. Talk with your parents. If they agree then a meeting with your guidance counselor and the principal should be arranged between then, you and your parents. The goal would be to find you classes with a more challenging environment.
