Question Posted Saturday September 29 2012, 6:03 pm
I wash myself "down there" twice a day, the same times I wash my face and brush my teeth in the morning and at night. I make sure that I've dried myself completely, and everything. I don't understand how I could have this smell even though I clean myself twice a day. It makes me very self - conscious and I get nervous that others can smell it. There are certain stretches and things in gym at school that I can't do because of it. Someone please help me.
AskCupid answered Monday October 1 2012, 6:56 pm: like the other columnist said no bodywash or shower gel down there and no soap either also could be something you eating maybe spicy food?and it could very well be an infection which a doctor would have to give you pills to kill the infection. So, what’s the best way to stay smelling good?
Washing with mild soap is the best way to avoid any perceived crotch funk–stay away from harsh deodorizing soaps and exfoliating bars down there–Youch! In addition, breathable natural-fiber undies allow air to flow to your vagina, reducing sweat and moisture. Drinking lots of water is also necessary for a healthy, functioning body. If you’re fanatical, panty liners can also be worn and then discarded to keep undies fresh. Plus, it hasn’t been scientifically proven, but many women swear that eating tons of fruits and veggies makes them smell better. Bonus? More fruits and veggies are a great way to show your body love either way.
