How do I get rid of red highlights in black hair?

Question Posted Saturday September 29 2012, 6:13 pm

My highlights didn't come out the way I wanted them too so want to get rid of them. I heard that if you strip the color or bleach it, it will turn out a mess. I just want to get rid of the red hightlights. How do I do it?

Get some black hair dye and go over the red. Or they sell some sort of hair dye remover at Wal-Mart and stuff.
