I would not wait to long to do so as after two days if it is fractured it has already started to mend. Depending on how badly it was fractured in the first place the doctors, if the can, may have to break it again to set it properly. This can be painful. If they can't rest it they will have to allow it to mend as is which could lead to the loss of mobility in that wrist.
