My eye is red and swollen underneath by the bottom eyelashes?
So this weekend I went swimming at a indoor pool with a friend and when I got home the next night my eye started to hurt at the bottom whenever I blinked. This morning I woke up and it was red and swollen underneath... Any ideas what it is? How did this happen? How do I fix it? HELP!

well, i'm no doctor and i can't see it, but it sounds like a stye. if you lay off make up or anything around it, it sohuld clear up in a few days. they sell drops at your local grocery store for it to help with the swelling and pain.
I would get it checked out though!

you didn't mention about your pain ,visual acuity,discharge.consult an opthalmologist if there is pain .hygiene is important,eye should be kept clean.if there is no improvement over few days you may need topical antibiotics.if it is allergic you may require antihistamine tablets and sodium cromoglycate eye drops.

Hey there,It could be just irritation from the chlorine in the water. Give it a day or two to improve. I suggest going to the pharamcy and asking your pharmacist for eye drops/cream if it doesn't clear up you should see an optometerist or regular doctor as you may need prescription medicine for a possible infection.
