i dont know who to ask this but if anyone can help it would be great. there is a fan page on face book which is racist, abusive and content which should not be published. i have reported this page to facebook but they dont seem to care as i have had no response. these people have publicly humiliated my partner and alot of other people. they have made hundreds of jokes about dead babies, racist jokes and remarks and are extremely abusive. please would somebody advise me on what to do thanks a million in advance.... this is the link:www.facebook.com/KurtiSafc and www.facebook.com/DeadBabyJokes
As someone who has used the Facebook Fan Page service quite a bit, I have to say there are actually a bunch of limitations on them designed to make it quite difficult for a fan page to bully individual people's Facebook accounts.
Facebook isn't going to ban anyone for bad taste. As DN said, if they revealed information about you or your partner, or engaged in harassment or hate speech you are going to have document the actual harassment taking place and if individual people are engaging in harassment, you'll need to report them, not just page they are doing it on.
Failing that, all you can really do is sign the petitions against these pages and ask others to sign them as well. And not post on the pages, since that is surest way to attract bullies and feed the trolls. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]

DangerNerd answered Monday June 11 2012, 9:27 pm: Hi there,
While most of what I saw is in incredibly bad taste... I didn't see anything that I know of being against the law.
I didn't see the place where they have publicly humiliated your partner, but I have to tell you I couldn't take much of it so I didn't look very long. :-(
Freedom of speech... this is where we are tested on that concept. Someone out there thinks something you believe and talk about is disgusting and revolting. Sadly, they are just as convinced that YOU should be kicked off the internet. This is the reason that freedom of speech is a hard concept to deal with when we find something we don't agree with.
Kinda sad the way the world is going, isn't it? It is a shame that this has become the norm, and accepted by all those people "liking" those sites... but it probably isn't against the law.
Have they used photos of your partner, or revealed any personal information they shouldn't have? Anything that might be against the law?
If you would like to have another set of eyes look at the specific things that have been done to you and your partner, please send me links directly to the places they have done this... that way I don't have to wade through this anymore.
The thing to realize here is that you aren't likely to get someone at facebook to be horrified at dead baby jokes. Why? Have you seen the show "Family Guy?" They have made light of everything, including telling "the first dead baby joke."
You know, this kind of highlights where we are in the grand scheme of things, doesn't it?
It wasn't very long ago that any network that aired that show would have been boycotted... and not long before that the same network would have been burned to the ground.
Do you remember how horrified people were when "The Simpsons" first hit the air in the 80s? Now we have shows that make the very worst of the Simpsons look like a kindergarten lesson.
I guess these sites, and the crowd that is hanging out there having a good LOL at some of that garbage are the result of decades of lowering standards in "humor."
In the 80s, The Simpsons was kinda/sorta viewed as tolerable as long as you didn't let your kids watch it... and now, people sit their toddlers down in front of "Family Guy?" Who saw that coming?
Sorry for the length of this. What you linked me to just stirred the thought of how far our idea of "humor" has fallen in the last three decades.
I hope that it pointed out why you feel alone in being offended by what you read there.
If you can link me to a specific example of them violating the law, I will join you in petitioning facebook to suspend the account or at least remove the offending content.
