da1N0nlyfriend answered Friday June 8 2012, 4:25 am: i think it all depends on if you use pads or tampons
but if you use tampons it could work out better because they don't absorb water but you might want to change them more often if you swim a lot but if there isn't a way for you to get a tampon then this is what you do.when you get in the water you should just not use a pad because you already would have enough pressure. if this doesn't help just go to this link(:

the front is the one you pee through and the last one is your butthole loll, the tampon goes in the middle one. it's a little hard to explain but i hope you know what im trying to say haha! and make sure you put it in right because if you dont its going to hurt really really bad, and if your period is really really light, it may be hard getting in & in that case i wouldnt put one in. if it's heavier it will be easier to put in and prob wont hurt as bad, you just have to put it in right! and make sure when your putting it in put one leg on the toilet and have the other one on the ground.
i hope i helped. if you have any questions just message me !:)
There are other sites like Tampax if you Google with medical diagrams that can help. If lost explain the problem to your mom or older female and get advice. If you can't get anywhere try a pharmacy for menstrual cups as that may be an alternative. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
