Sony Vegas HD 11 Problem...

If anyone has Sony Vegas than you know how it is when you enter a text box thing to the timeline. It pops up and says ''sample text,'' and your supposed to erase it and write your own text. Well when I do that and type it it comes up as squares...? Why? I need help please? Anyone?

That program is so annoying! You're typing on the sample, you need to insert the textbox to your timeline and double click on this one - make sure that the text you're typing basically is already added to the timeline. Also check the font, it could be something funky like wingdings or something like that.
