by passing a password for wireless access

im 19 and a female my bf that i live with has a wireless router and doesnt remember the password so unfortunatly mylap top cannot be connected. im looking for a by pass code or a really simple way around it. its just a basic password security pleas if someone could help i kinda need my computer hooked up for school and work.

Two options:

1) Plug your laptop into one of the four wired ports on the back of the router.

2) Follow the instructions for resetting the router. There is usually a button on the back of the router but you should reference the instructions and make sure it won't ruin anything your boyfriend has customized in his router settings.
