What are good questions or comments a waitress should make?

Dear Questioner,
personally i prefer to know my waiter(ess) name. So for example I would go up to the table and say "hello my name is, i will be tending to you today how are you" or something to that affect :)

waiters/waitresses need to be outgoing and talkative to customers. They usually ask how the people are doing, how was their day, what they would like to drink or eat. They sometimes usually make small talk such as the weather or any events going on around town. At the end they usually give a nice comment such as have a great day or take care.
