I once noticed a tiny ammount of blood on the loo paper. My doctor insisted I had a colonoscopy. I am glad I did as they discovered a polyp and removed it. It did have some changes occuring within it and eventually could have turned to bowel cancer, who knows!
Do not be afraid its best to put your mind at rest than to sit worrying about it.

None of us here are doctors so we are not going to be able to give you a definitive answer to your question.

Being able to see blood actually mixed into the stool itself usually requires a test strip. I think what you are seeing is bright red blood on the tissue paper and or in the water in the bowl. This could be caused by several things the most common are hemorrhoids, both internal and external and something called anal fissures.

While neither of these are all that serious and generally are left alone by the doctors; unless they interfere with bowel movements or bowel movements cause uncontrolled bleeding. It would be best if you made an appointment with your family doctor or a gastroenterologist.

Go to your doctor.

There are many possible reasons for having blood in your stools, some much more serious than others. No one on here will be able to give you a definitive answer.

Please make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible.
