So, i'm going to try and get fit for the summer. I don't really want to lose a lot of weight but i need some exercises/ workouts to help me without having to go to the gym and withought having to use weights. My main focus is my stomach area and love handle area. Also, does anyone know some healthy snacks i can eat throughout the day? Any advice would be appriciated.
Lay on your back and put your hands under your butt. Lift up your legs about 4 inches of the ground ans swing them back and forth as far as you can go. I dont know what that exercise is called.
Another one is to lay on your back with your legs and head off the ground. You should be able to rock back and forth. Then start rocking with your hands by your side, this usually doesnt hurt till later.
For this one you also have to be in the same position with your hands by your side. Then while keeping your arms straight quickly bring them up and down about 3 inches from your side.
Healthy Snacks:
Any fruit or veggies are good but some recommended ones are apples. They have lots of antioxidants and give you long lasting energy. Bannanas with peanut butter is also good because peanut butter will give you muscle gaining power. My brother ate a whole lot of this stuff when he had to gain 8 pounds for the Army. But if you eat a lot of peanut butter and dont exercise it'll become fat. I hope I helped and have fun! [ Horselover21's advice column | Ask Horselover21 A Question ]

You could also look on youtube at "insane abs work out" (that way you don't have to buy a dvd) There are usually alternatives to the exercises, if they are too hard for you and those are really good for your stomach and whole abdomen area. Good healthy snacks would be like fruit and vegetables, if you like them. They are good for you, and pretty filling also so a little can go a long way. I hope that helped (:
