I lied to my dad about having detention... and I Really Need Help!!!

I Told My Dad That Im Staying After School For Extra Help But I Really Had Detention. I Knew Since Friday And My Stepmom Didnt Know I Was Staying After So She Came To Get Me And She Said She Looked EVERYWHERE And She Didnt See Me But I Was There Cause Of Detention. So now I Dont Know What To Do Cause I Have To Tell My Dad And Im Scared What Should I Do?

Be honest. Tell him that you didn't want him to know you got in trouble. for.. not sure what it is fill in the blank____________. haha. Tell him that you were scared to how he would react. Tell him your really sorry.

and just remember, your dad will always love you no matter what happens. It is just detention. it could be worse. so take a big breath. And just be honest!
