I am in a situation where I can no more decide anything. Life has turned out to be a nightmare and I just want to wake up from that dream by killing myself. Please help me. I want to die. Don't I have the right to be happy?
colourfulchaos27 answered Friday February 10 2012, 5:41 am: I too have experienced the dark side of depression. I turned into a complete contrast of my former self. I lost all confidence in myself, I hated meeting new people, being in public, and I desperatly wanted to die. TODAY, I AM SO GRATEFUL I DIDNT DO ANYTHING SILLY.
You can and WILL get through this.
There are also many factors needed to be taken into consideration.
Firstly, what is your diet like? Certain foods can cause a chemical imbalance leading to depression. This is a physiological effect on the digestive system, immune system, and central nervous system.
If you are not receiving adequate nutrition your physical, mental, and emotional health is at risk.
There are many foods that have a natural "sunshine and happiness" effect on moods.
Are you getting adequate exercise? Exercising releases endorphines, and its nice too get out in about in a park.
Even walking half an hour a day every day increases muscle tone, and respiratory capacity.
Have you had a sudden upset? A change in circumstances? Are you doing what you want to do? You have to understand the emotion you are feeling.
You can get through this. Do you like to paint? Draw? Dance? Clay? I found these modalities helped me express my pain and realize my emotions.
I hope you can see the light coming through. Talk too people, even just a little bit.

There are things in life that are throw at us but we as humans have to face it. 'What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger'. Have you ever heard of that saying? It's so true. I've been through some tough things in my life but I've become stronger because of it. I don't know what you're going through and I'm not saying its easy but killing yourself isn't going to fix it. It doesn't solve the problem facing it will. Do you have anyone to talk to? Do you go to school? Do you know someone you can trust? Talk to someone and I'm sure you'll feel a lot better. I know this maybe be hard as well but try and think positive.
